Opportunity to join an expanding construction company in Saudi Arabia working on civil and building projects across the Kingdom. Responsibilities will include: - Assures consistent quality of service by developing and enforcing construction processes and procedures according to the company ISO certification - Devising, establishing and monitoring a company’s ISO quality procedures, standards and specifications; - Reviewing customer requirements and making sure they are met; - Working with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements from external suppliers; - Setting standards for quality as well as health and safety; - Making sure that construction processes meet international and national standards - Looking at ways to reduce waste and increase efficiency; - Defining quality procedures in conjunction with operating staff; - Setting up and maintaining controls and documentation procedures; - Monitoring performance by gathering relevant data and producing reports; - Making suggestions for changes and improvements and how to implement them; - Using relevant quality tools and making sure managers and other staff understand how to improve the business; - Making sure the company is working as effectively as possible to keep up with competitors; - Achieving quality assurance operational objectives by contributing information and analysis to strategic plans and reviews; - Preparing and completing action plans; - Implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; - Identifying and resolving problems; - Developing quality assurance plans by conducting hazard analyses; - identifying critical control points and preventive measures; - Establishing critical limits, monitoring procedures, corrective actions, and verification procedures.
Requirements
- 10 years experience in the construction industry as Quality Assurance Manager - Experienced in the implementation and management of QA systems ISO9001 - Must be based in Saudi Arabia on a single status basis and have a transferable Iqama - Excellent communication skills and leadership skills - Process improvement, analyzing information, strategic planning, quality engineering, attention to detail, dealing with complexity

Forensic/Claims Planner

My client is a leading joint venture of construction companies who are currently working on a major section of the Riyadh Metro project. They are currently looking to recruit an experienced forensic/claims planner to join the contracts team based in Riyadh. The role will include: - Maintain, integrate and update the project primavera P6 windows analysis model to determine delays; - Delays in the project plan will be identified and validated; - Reviewing and validating all planning fragnets proposed in addition to the windows analysis model; - Delays will be identified as excusable and non excusable and their impact will be assessed. - Delay impact assessments will be documented and reported in a clear and concise manner.
Requirements
Candidates should have an engineering, construction or quantity surveying degree and should have a proven background in the planning of large civil engineering construction projects. Candidates should have claims planning/delay analysis experience preferably gained in the Middle East. Rail and metro experience is an advantage.
