JOB
DESCRIPTION FOR THE POSITION:
Operate
& Maintain Deep Packet Inspection (DPI) Equipment and related systems for
continuous uptime, best service performance and to troubleshoot any problems
related to them.
Design,
Coordinate & Deploy new procedures & processes to manage traffic, as
demanded by changing Traffic Trends or the day-to-day operations.
Analyze the
performance and quality of the network and achieve the set target of KPI in
IPTC network.
Keep track
of operational events and review the issues/concerns about availability,
resources and performance of the assigned network/service/functionality.
Review and
advice on the development of policies, procedures, guidelines, standards and
operating practices with respect to DPI.
Work
directly with customers to resolve issues and fulfill requests
Have a calm
patient attitude to listen to problems, perform research driving a reported
issue towards a resolution
Take
ownership of overall customer satisfaction, recognize high priority situations
and take appropriate escalation action
Manage
multiple issues in parallel, taking responsibility for meeting SLA and updating
customers
Troubleshoot,
replicate, and investigate the issues
Rolling out
major changes and provide Tier 2/3 support during maintenance windows
Document
day-to-day activities in our ticketing system
DESIRED SKILLS
TO PERFORM THE TASKS / PREFERRED INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE:
Experience
of working in Tier-1 Telecom Operators (Mobile & Fixed) or Telecom
Solutions Provider or Systems Integrator or ISP environment.
Product
knowledge of DPI Systems (preferably Sandvine PTS, SRP, SDE etc.)
OS - Linux
(and / or other Unix) experience, and familiarity at the command line is
preferred
Exposure
toward Scripting Languages such as Python, Perl etc.
Excellent
analytic and troubleshooting skills for problems that span multiple domains
(applications, network, system, hardware)
Minimum 3-4
years Customer Service related/NOC experience or equivalent
Ability to
prioritize and manage workload effectively
Able to
communicate verbally and in writing with customers in a professional and
friendly manner
Good
organizational & analytical skills, ability to plan, track tasks and
deliver to agreed timescales
Should be

Customer-focused
Professional Services Manager with full responsibility of implementing Projects
pertaining to IP Network Policy & Control, Open Device & Service
Management for Broadband, 3G/LTE Mobile Site Audit & Benchmarking, Big Data
& Analytics, Security & Surveillance etc. for Telecom Carriers, Oil
& Gas and Enterprise Customers in MENA Region, particularly UAE.
Lead a team
comprising of Asst. Project Managers, Project Engineers, Service Engineers and
offsite Managed Services Team.
Immediately
take charge of the ongoing Projects involving Deep Packet Inspection (DPI)
Technology & Network Analytics, Remote CPE Management, Email Anti-Spam
Solution and 3G/LTE Mobile Site Audit.
Also,
immediately take charge of our clients Managed Services team that is working at
Customers Network Operations Center in UAE. Mentor and enhance their
performance, liaise closely with the Customer and Technology Partner to expand
the Managed Services Scope and associated Revenues.
Ensure
prompt operations support to Customers in line with agreed SLAs & KPIs.
Ensure
timely achievement of intermediate, provisional and final acceptance milestones
of the Projects without delay penalties. Obtain completion
certificates/signatures from Customers Project-Owners and deliver to our client
Commercial for Invoicing. Ensure timely certification of the Invoices by
Customers Project-Owners to help expedite collections.
Represent
our client in Project Review Meetings called by Customers from time to time.
Effectively
manage relationships with Customers, Technology Partners and Subcontractors.
Avoid any potential conflicts and successfully manage conflicts if at all they
arise.
Create a
Technology Skills Pool capable of supporting other Projects of Principals in
the Region and in-turn generate new service revenue stream for our client

Position
Summary
The primary
responsibilities of the Teaching Specialist (Biological Sciences) will be to
provide teaching support to the faculty, laboratory staff and students in the
Premedical and Foundation Biological Sciences courses. Currently, WCM-Q
offerings in Biological Sciences include premedical lecture and lab course
sequences and foundation level course sequences (Fall and Spring semesters).
Additional courses or course modules that may require support include
Biochemistry and Human Genetics, for instance. Primary activities of the
Teaching Specialist will relate to working with small groups and one-on-one
student teaching as well as assisting with assessment.
At the
request of the Associate Dean for Premedical Education, all Teaching
Specialists may be asked to support other courses and activities, including but
not limited to, outreach and student recruitment, and support of students in
the medical curriculum.
Job
Responsibilities
• Attend course lectures, recitations,
and review sessions (as requested by supervising faculty member) and maintain
student attendance records, if required by the faculty.
• Remain current with the content of the
course(s) and learn new content as course(s) evolve(s).
• Hold formal “walk-in” office hours for
small-group or one-on-one student help as well as meet with students upon
request by appointment.
• Support the students in other
productive ways when necessary, including additional small group tutorial/help
sessions prior to examinations or when appropriate.
• Assist faculty in the creation of
practice materials, including, but not limited to answer keys, for students.
Participate in and/or facilitate recitations and review sessions as requested
by faculty member.
• If required, assist in the design of

to being present for all lab sessions, will be expected to introduce and lead
one formal laboratory session each week and will act as support to assist in
supervision of students, as needed, in other sessions
• Prepare/support preparation and
delivery of brief pre-lab presentations. Responsible for communicating and
assuring compliance of proper laboratory safety protocols by the students. Assess
student performance during in-lab sessions
• Perform experiments and/or technical
procedures prior to the laboratory sessions and, if required by faculty, assist
laboratory staff in setting up for weekly experiments.
• Perform small group and/or one-on-one
instruction to students in the proper and safe operation of laboratory
instruments (e.g. digital pipettes, microscopes, centrifuges,
spectrophotometers, PCR cyclers, etc.) as well as data processing.
• Assist, if required, in the
development of new laboratory topics and design experimental procedures and
assessment methods
• Primary responsibilities will be in
the Biological Sciences courses. However, based on relevant skills and
