Snubbing Specialist Consultant

Position: Snubbing Specialist Location: UAE Contract: 6 months (renewable) Our client who is a leading operator with assets internationally, are seeking an experienced Snubbing Specialist to work in the UAE on a consultant basis. You will be responsible for supporting the development process and delivery of safe, effective workover and completion solutions for our clients assets. Role & Responsibilities: * Develop a robust workover program utilizing a snubbing unit and prepares scope of work, technical specifications for snubbing unit and related services. * Conducts technical evaluation of snubbing unit along with company and equipment audit/inspection. * Reviews of contracting terms pertaining to snubbing unit services and prepares cost estimates for AFE preparation. * Directs, supervises and controls all activities pertaining to the workover program. Provides technical trouble shooting when problems occur on the snubbing unit. * Monitors drilling expenditures daily with the goal of drilling the most cost-effective wells possible. * Reviews equipment planning with Drilling Engineer, Workover Supervisors and the Material & Logistics Coordinator to ensure timely equipment arrivals and to eliminate equipment overstocking. * Documents operations risk assessments and WWOPs. Arranges for the pre-spud meeting on the rig to discuss the well instructions and highlight critical issues * Conducts after actions reviews, and incorporation of lessons learned to enhance learning efficiency of the organization. * Liaises with Construction personnel to ensure that well platforms are constructed to specifications, in a time and cost-effective manner.
Requirements
Suitable candidates must be qualified with Bachelors or Master's degree in Engineering, preferably Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical or equivalent technical field. QHSE Advisor

Reporting directly to the KSA Country Manager and Regional QHSE Manager in Abu Dhabi this person will be responsible for all QHSE related matters for KSA Operations of the workshop in Dammam industrial city No2. The main duties include ensuring compliance with company management system, local legislations and client requirements in relation to health, safety and environment. Provide reports and carryout periodical safety audits. Outline of Duties: - Provide support for development of work place, work process, work environment. - Witness the implementation of Quality, Safety, Health and Environment and coherence of the company’s management system. - Carryout internal audit to ensure compliance with local legislations and client’s requirements and provide reports to management. - Give advice on planning, execution and maintenance of company organization, social and sanitary facilities. - Investigate the root cause of the accidents and other incidents and damages including near misses. Report the investigation to country Manager and QHSE Manager. - Record near misses, incidents, accidents and damages. - Spend time in the field to ensure compliance. - Inform the responsible person on site about found failures and corrections to be made. - Coach and train staff on HSE related matters, requirements and procedures. - Give advice on the use and issues of PPE. - Formulation of TRA/MS.
Requirements
- Must be Saudi National - College or technical degree - NEBOSH or equivalent qualification - 3-5 years minimum experience in similar role - Experience in the Gas and Oil industry - Saudi Aramco experience is highly preferable. - Excellent verbal communication skills - Excellent writing skills in English
