The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the developer are operating within all legal requirements in all aspects of its operations and to provide legal advice to the management of the company. This will include: • Interpret and give advice on contract compliance and enforcement • Draft and review all contracts at each transactional stage and evaluate to ensure legal compliance • Draft and solidify agreements, contracts and other legal documents to ensure the company’s full legal rights • Develop and manage database of all major contracts signed and provide regular assistance to the departments in executing, follow-up & closing of the contracts • Prepare template MOU’s and agreements to ensure legal compliance
Requirements
• A degree /Masters in Law • A minimum of 5 years in a Legal Counsel position • Expertise within the real estate sector and hospitality projects • Knowledge of Omani Law • Strong in contracts/substantive laws and legal procedures • Fluent in Arabic

Client is a leading international contractor who specialise in oil and gas an marine projects and work extensively in the Middle East region. They are currently recruiting for an experienced project controls manager to carry out the following duties: • Head, manage and supervise a team of Project Controls Engineers and Planners. • Follow up and implement the established project controls processes and prepare all reporting and deliverables as required. • Prepare and manage the schedule of the work. • Manage the contract scope including any claims and variations. • Manage the invoicing and measurement processes. • Assist in the procurement of project materials and subcontractors and their subsequent control. • Prepare and manage project budget and forecast cost to complete.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is essential, preferably Civil, but other disciple will be considered - Master’s Degree is desirable. • Minimum 10 years of working experience in Civil, Marine and Oil & Gas projects. • Minimum 5 years of experience as Project Controls Manager. • Excellent leadership and organization skills, as the successful candidate has to lead a team of engineers. • Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, and strong presentation skills in the English Language. • Computer literate; conversant with MS Office application and competent in Primavera (P3 or P6). • Demonstrated technical knowledge and consultative skills. • Able to meet deadlines, which are related to the Project requirements. • Strong problem solving skills: ability to assess a problem and determine an effective course of action. • Willing to learn new things and develop personally and professionally. • Demonstrates an intermediate level of knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and start up work processes. • Well conversant with cost control, budgeting, forecasting, and variation assessment.
