Experience as under:
Install and configure UNIX operating systems and servers. Support AIX OS to run various software applications. Maintain and upgrade the AIX OS. Install and test AIX OS patches. Develop procedures for AIX security and management. Update standard policies according to environment changes and audit results. Develop performance improvement initiatives for AIX system environment. Identify and resolve system issues in a timely manner. Plan and coordinate the installation, testing, and maintenance of AIX systems software and related hardware. Plan and execute AIX projects within approved timelines. Analyze software and hardware environments to determine any system defects. Maintain documentation of AIX hardware and software components and user and operator procedures. Develop data backups and retrieval techniques in case of failure, redundancy, etc. Detect and troubleshoot system operational and functional issues. Perform performance maintenance routines to ensure continuous system availability. Develop and implement disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity.

The Role
This is a great opportunity for a commercially minded experienced individual to join Dubai office of progressive reputable business with global operation – Europe, Asia & Middle East. Reporting to the CEO & MD, the Project Manager will define and scope projects, craft project plans, and manage projects from original idea through proof of concept, within targeted budget and timeline parameters. You will support the team by shaping the strategy and alignment to brand innovation/consumer strategy with teams of designers, developers, materials experts to ensure projects are executed against the vision and meet standards for performance, manufacturability and quality. You will manage all project tracking including calendars and key milestones, and will work to identify issues and drive resolution ensuring the projects move forward efficiently as planned. Project management and the ability to influence the team, combined with an ability to challenge and re-think the future, is critical. This role will need to have a high attention to detail, and juggle multiple projects at the same time with a focus on the big picture. The person must have strong organizational skills and must be able to work through others even when they do not report directly into you. You must have a high tolerance for ambiguity, yet can breakdown and plan work for the purposes of resource allocation and costing, even when information is still vague or imperfect. You must be able to communicate well and often with team members and management, making sure to highlight any issues or problems as they arise. You will be expected to actively improve your skills, stay current with industry trends, and seek knowledge of entrepreneurial ventures leading world class innovation. • A strategist and project management expert who is connected to technology, product (footwear/apparel) and consumer needs. Driven to working with a team to bring amazing innovation concepts, franchises and technology platforms to proof of concept in support of brand growth and creating industry dominance. • 5+ years’ experience in innovation project management, footwear and apparel product management, and/or management consulting (with innovation projects), and innovation strategy. • Four years’ college degree or equivalent experience. • Demonstrated success creating and managing innovation projects. • Strong, confident presenter with good communication skills. • Strong people skills. • Strong project management and budgeting skills. • Microsoft Excel, Office, Project management frameworks and tools. • Quarterly business travel required.

Moreover, to growth of the community, enhancement of the stickiness of the digital community, and driving increasing walk-in traffic. Creating brand advantage that drives sales desire and sales value on an ongoing basis is key. Major Duties and Responsibilities Brand Awareness Management • Work with the VP Sales & Marketing in designing a marketing strategy and execute activities to establish and maintain brand presence both internally and in the market. • Attack competitors with differentiated propositions locally to ensure advantage is maximised • Build and manage an effective relationship with external vendors in order develop copy, content and design for promotional campaigns, advertising activities and marketing materials • Manage all activities within the department in accordance to the agreed departmental budget Brand Activation • Work with the CSR and Events Coordinator to ensure all events enhance brand positioning and grow community and sales value • Create B2B partnerships that enhance awareness, advantage and ROI • Ensure, when necessary, that branding and marketing activities are exclusive for various zones of the project and design, develop and implement strategies accordingly PR & Digital • Working with the PR Agency, by develop and implement a strategic PR plan promoting company on a local, regional and international level through well suited media outlets ensuring the brand continues to be perceived as the market leader within real estate development. • Write, edit or verify press releases, newsletters, speeches, articles, annual reports and all PR materials both in Arabic (with assistance from Event Coordinator) & English to support PR activity and ensure all material is approved beforehand • With PR agency organize press events and follow ups from these activities. • Ensure all Communication investments are projected through, and grown via online & social media channels. • Maximise exposure and funnel/segment when required to key groups and gatekeepers. • Ensure that media contacts database is accurate and updated on a regular basis. • Optimise digital strategy and use of social media channels as community creator, interest and lead generator. • With agency, write content for Social Media channels updating MB PR events to enhance brand exposure. • Maintain and update media and news information on MB website. • Issue newsletter on monthly basis. Internal & Sales Communications • Work closely with the Sales team to ensure relevant promotional material regarding sale of properties is produced in a timely manner and create Sales templates that enhance profile of sales team in sales channel and accelerate broker credibility and market penetration • Run in-house communication programs to communicate brand values and company marketing • Ensure that employees are aware of changes and projects within the company • Distribute executive messages, prepare presentations and internal memos, and conduct meetings to share information Metrics • Conduct competitive strategic analysis, market research & trends, consumer segmentation, and consumer insight development. • Analyse and measure the results of marketing campaigns, ensuring that they are compatible with the target audience. • Keep abreast of competitor activities and produce with Post Sales and Sales Manager Monthly Competitor reports. • Analyse MB’s brand awareness both internally and externally, develop a brand tracking information program and review company brand guidelines. • Conduct PR research on perceptions and attitudes towards the organization.

The Role
An International Operating company are seeking a Contracts Engineer to join their team in Muscat on a 12 month contract. - Drafts appropriate contractual and commercial terms & conditions to best serve and protect Company’s interests. - Recommends suitable sources and proposes appropriate contracting strategies. - Coordinates with and advises stakeholders on various contractual and commercial matters. - Evaluates claims / requests for contract variations / amendments and maintains follow-up until closeout of contract files. - Ensures the provision of centralized contract development activities to meet in a cost-effective, timely and efficient manner for all company’s contracting requirements. - Develops contracting activities plan for each tender in line with company’s requirement. - Develop contracts for Company and recommends qualification/evaluation criteria and negotiation strategies. - Handles complex and high value contracts as assigned. - Prepares invitation to tender, develops final draft for management approval and issues tender documents. - Arranges for technical evaluation of bids. - Reviews technical evaluation report and arranges commercial bid opening as per company procedures. - Contributes to the preparation of amendments to existing contracting and service agreement policies, procedures and systems with a view to enhancing their effectiveness in the light of changing requirements. - Receives and verifies claims and requests for verification, applies judgement and proposes negotiation strategies and settles claims.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Business Admin or Law. - Experience: 7 to 10 years (indicative) in contracts development within the oil & gas industry, preferably working with operating companies. - Sound knowledge of commercial practices, legal aspects and negotiation skills. - Ability to utilize specialized applicable software package. - High level of computer applications knowledge and skills.
