Our Client has expertise in Safety Electronics team designs and develops hardware and functional models that provide Best in Class behavior for features like Adaptive Cruise Control, Automatic Emergency Braking, Cross Traffic Alert, Active Park Assist and 360 Camera Systems.
We are seeking seasoned professionals who can contribute to our efforts with experience in the development of sensors, ECUs, models and software. We are seeking to add high quality people to the team rather than trying to squeeze engineers into a specific role.
Responsibilities:
Lead the build and integration of SW for the NXP Treerunner Develop a specification to provide to the supplier for the build environment Support development of a plan for in-house experimental SW builds Understand the Treerunner SW architecture and all the components of the SW that are required at different stages of the program Use QNX configuration and development tools to integrate application software components with basic software Verify the operation of the build on test benches Utilize the SW development and build process and tools for configuration management and debugging.
Basic Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Software, Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace or Controls Engineering
5+ years experience in software development in C or C++ Experience with Simulink and code generators An understanding of embedded software development Experience with QNX and related tools.
Preferred Qualifications: Understanding of embedded hardware and software design Software architecture, modular application development with Model/software, strong embedded experience, developing production algorithm experience Understanding of the active safety functions.

The Role
Role Overview: The Project Control Specialist (PCS) will be allocated medium and/or multi projects and functionally reports to the Projects Controls Lead, for the region within which he/she operates, and agrees day-to-day activities with the Program or Centre of Excellence Manager. The PCS is responsible for supervising and coordinating activities on allocated projects, as well as the legitimacy of the work assignments for allocated projects & personnel. The PCS will ensure corporate governance, procedure compliance and will provide technical leadership to GPC personnel allocated to the PCS’s projects. The PCS will be expected to stand in for the SPC during periods of absence.
