Job Description
a ) Opportunity to work as a Care assistant in United Kingdom. b) Employment to be based with in the Borders of the United Kingdom. c)Contract of Employment to be given on the basis of a Full Time Permanent Contract. d)Employment Contract to be not less than 2 calendar years (24 Months). e)Employment to be provided by UK Based Geriatric Care Company. f)Candidates should provide a copy of degree certificate and all relevant qualifications in their submissions. Hard copy of degree certificate preferable in interview. g)Valid passport (minimum 02 years). h) To Ensure the Care Standards, in respect of the operation of a Care Home. i) To Maintain the personal hygiene of each resident as necessary care of nails, hair, oral care. Ensure the cleanliness and general welfare of each resident is maintained and assistance is provided when required e.g. with toileting, bathing, dressing/undressing and supporting Residents with their incontinent needs. j)To provide the residents with a regular choice of social, recreational, occupational activities. Assist with any personal requirements and needs of the residents e.g.shopping, including all planned and unplanned ( emergency) visits to Hospital,Doctor's and Dental Practices. k) Report all complaints and accidents within the Home to the Line Manager and record the relevant details where necessary. It is part of Carer's responsibility to maintain safe environment for minimise risk and potential risks to Residents, Staff Group and Visitors. l) Maintain the tidiness and hygiene of all rooms and annexes in the Home and carry out household duties as directed by the Manager and as per systems and procedures .
