Job Description 

Job Purpose :  - Drive and support the testing and delivery of digital projects and API's. Be in charge of operational test activities (design and execution) during project releases and follow up on test progression. Responsible to analyse business requirements, prepare test scenarios, participate in scrum meetings and perform technical testing. Coordinate with vendors and business to remove any barriers for testing and report progress.  Key Performance Areas :  Area of Knowledge :  - Experience testing against the following technologies: Java, SQL, Middleware, REST, SOAP. XML, API's.  - Experience in writing Junit tests using Eclipse IDE and Cucumber for test automation is highly desirable  - Professional experience debugging large integrated software system. Ability to debug complex XMLs, middleware logs, write database scripts and perform technical testing  - Experience using HP ALM for defect management and defect triage process. Experience of working with development teams and solution providers  - Experience in liaising among stakeholders (internal technology support team and vendors on escalated incidents) to manage the business analysis, translating high level business requirements into detailed solution design documentation with test planning and application rollout. Ability to write User Stories  - Agile experience/knowledge of key agile techniques including Kanban, Lean, XP, and Scrum. At least 2+ years of working in a scrum team.  Main Accountability :  - Create test cases and scenarios from the functional specifications of the new released software and process  - Prepare and create test data of the testing scenarios and their dedicated chronograms  - Perform testing as specified in the test documentation usually over several test cycles (including regression testing, etc.)  - Document test and verify results HP QC/ALM  Ensure that :  - High quality and appropriate test conditions, scripts and data are produced  - All problems records have the correct owner to ensure resolution is obtained  - Identify the reasons why a problem record occurred  - Work closely with the Regional IT Test Manager, Vendor and Architecture team to ensure the smooth running of the testing phase  - All project members are aware of progress / issues that occur within the testing phase. The Role 
The role is essential in leading the technical capability and deliverables across all hard services.  Structure and reporting relationship The Estates Manager reports to the Deputy General Manager  Key accountabilities  Reporting to the Deputy General Manager, key responsibilities will include: • Management and coordination of all Estates Management Maintenance Services and deliverables across the New York University Abu Dhabi contract. • Estates Management Services include but are not limited to, planned and reactive maintenance activities for MEP, building fabric, specialist services systems and FF&E. Projects and variation works including fit outs, refurbishments and change of use requirements. Management and use of the Concept Evolution, Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS), Life Cycle management, Space Planning, Moves and Changes and Minor Churn services, Document Control and CAD services including management of As Built Drawings, O&M Manuals and Technical Library. • Ownership and management of the annual and five year Life Cycle planning, approvals, procurement and project delivery including budgetary and quality controls. • Responsible for the Estate Management Service including QHSE policies, procedures and systems that support a safe and professional work ethic and that it remains relevant and up-to-date ensuring they are aware of the Serco Integrated Management System (IMS), UAE legislation, regulatory compliance and industry best practice. • Management and leadership of the Estates Management engineering, technical and administrative staff and service providers across all sub departments including MEP Maintenance, Building Services, Project Management and Technical Support. • Provide direction and support to all staff for the resolution of issues, compliance and all department associated problems by way of mentoring, coaching and recognised engagement and leadership techniques. Develop succession plans for all staff. • Meet the Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) deliverables as per the contract Service Level Agreements (SLA’s). • Production of monthly and annual operational reports to both specified timeframes and adhoc requests as required. Requirements 
The Estates Manager should have proven experience in facilities management and the built environment, with emphasis on mechanical engineering services.  He/she should be a highly motivated, flexible individual with energy and drive. Have good planning abilities, an analytical approach to problem solving and a good knowledge of built environment technology. Additionally he/she must be conversant with the requirements of all current relevant legislation.  The Estates Manager must be a good communicator at all levels with the ability to demonstrate strong technical knowledge, advice, and guidance to support the client and key stakeholders.
