As a Technical Permanent Way design professional this role will provide you with the opportunity to participate and shape the direction of rail projects and attraction of new opportunities. Ideally, you will have worked on a broad range of projects small to large, come from a strong rail infrastructure design background within a consultancy and have a thorough understanding of what contributes to the success of a consultancy. Responsibilities: *Delivery of major rail infrastructure projects and providing lead technical expertise in all aspects of permanent way design *Providing leadership and mentoring to your team *Leading business development opportunities; identify market trends, future opportunities and potential clients *Managing and reviewing designs *Applying technical expertise and industry knowledge to deliver the best solution that meets the client needs and achieves a high level of satisfaction *Stakeholder engagement *Participating in the project management, design management and/or technical lead roles on relevant projects
