Requirements

Project Manager - Power Plant

- Overall responsibility for cost, schedule, safety, quality, risk management, engineering, construction and start up of the Power Plant - Manage 1-2 Project Engineers, along with other Owner’s engineers, as well as the construction manager to ensure EPC Contractor’s adherence to standards, permits, performance, quality and safety expectations - Management and coordination of design and operational reviews and approvals from client and key internal stakeholders - Review/develop technical standards, specifications, drawings and documents. - Manage day to day commercial and contractual issues - Work with Management to implement internal Project Control tools - Assist in the negotiation of the EPC Agreements - Report to Management on Power Plant progress, costs, schedule, safety, quality, etc. - Work with other company Project Managers, under the direction of the Project Director, to coordinate the integration of the Power Plant. - Participate in the selection and negotiation of engineering and construction contractors. - Identify, communicate and manage risk - Responsible for project Quality Assurance/Quality Control. - Manage 3rd party Owner’s Engineering contractors as required to facilitate design reviews - Coordinate multiple contractors at various stages of the project. - Support the development of the capital cost estimate at the various project stage gates 
Requirements 
- Engineering degree or equivalent is preferred but not required; candidates with a strong proven track record will be considered - 8+ years applicable experience with large scale Power projects, including project management and execution, engineering and design, construction, commissioning and start up. - Experience in coordinating multi-disciplinary activities and a proven ability to work across departments and work-groups - Experience negotiating, managing, and implementing EPC Contracts. - Experience with the interconnection process would be an asset

Construction Director

- Coordinate with engineering and procurement in terms of deliverables to be submitted to the client, finalize schedules to be met,resources required as per contractual terms. - To verify that the drawings and specifications provide adequate instructions for the work and advice the Project Manager of any deficiencies or clarifications needed. - To identify any problem areas in the programmes ,discuss with the Project Manger and agree a solution. - To ensure ,before any work commences ,that all items of material ,equipment scaffolding etc required are available to avoid abortive and unproductive use of labor. - To maintain primary contact and a good working relationship with subcontractors/Client site representatives. - To be fully familiar with the subcontractors/Client methods of construction ,programming and procedures and to resolve any apparent conflicts. - To ensure that all sub contractors employed within his area of responsibility are fully aware of their obligations and responsibilities. - Co-ordinate / prepare, implement and manage any required project related engineering method statements and execution plans. - Preparation of project related materials requisitions. - Coordinate technical issues relating to engineering design between customer and the project. - Monitor all elements of work execution and provide input to the planning department . - Monitor schedule activities in order to achieve on time results including follow up with external sub contractors and suppliers when required. - Liaise with the subcontract department to ensure project budgetary and schedule objectives are met. - Monitor actual man-hours against budgeted man-hours and take steps to correct overruns. - Weekly review meetings with the client to discuss progress achieved to date as well as a forecast for the following week in addition to any other issues which need to be resolved 
Requirements 
- Minimum 20 years’ experience in senior management position - Lead full construction of major EPC project  - Must have held overall responsibility for all construction on major EPC project circa 500m USD and above - Must have strong experience in delivering EPC LSTK projects
