Instrument Engineer -
Refinery - Foundation Fieldbus - Field Engineering - Maintenance
We are seeking a General Instrumentation Engineer to join the Jazan Refinery - Automation & Instrumentation Unit.
Your experience must include understanding of Refinery facilities; their physical and operational constraints, main economic drivers to maximize asset availability.
You will be required to perform the following:
- Participate in the development of design and installation specifications along with commissioning plans.
- Participate in the development of criteria for and evaluation of different field instrumentation and technical maintenance service providers.
- Develop acceptance tests and inspection criteria. Optimize the process control of the plants using the real time data (PID tuning) from PCS systems and performance monitoring of automation and instrumentation.
- Provide support to the Field Instrumentation maintenance workshop in the following areas: Maintenance, installation, troubleshooting, calibration and repair work on site or in repair shop. Minimizing the downtime for all installed Field Instrumentation by the timely implementation of planned maintenance procedures. Preventive maintenance, troubleshooting for field instrumentation. Troubleshooting and modification of field instrumentation. Testing, calibration, checking and recommissions of all test instrumentation against recognized standards. Calibration of Field Instrumentation and maintenance of records on testing, calibration and installation.
- Observing all HSE regulations and ensuring safe operating procedures are followed.
- Work and configure communication using Foundation Fieldbus devices, HART, Profibus and MODBUS (Serial and Ethernet) Communication. Participate in engineering work and tests (FAT, I-FAT, etc.) and site activities (SAT, Pre-commissioning, Commissioning & Start-up) as well as in maintenance and troubleshooting jobs.

disciplines) You should have 9 years of work experience in field
instrumentation, preferably with foundation fieldbus apparatuses. You should have

principles, calculation methods, knowledge of international standards and
specifications.

Main responsibilities:
• Establishes rental rate by surveying local rental rates; calculating overhead costs, depreciation, taxes, and profit goals.
• Attracts tenants by advertising vacancies; obtaining referrals from current tenants; explaining advantages of location and services; showing units.
• Negotiates leasing contracts with tenants & collecting security deposit.
• Accomplishes financial objectives by collecting rents; paying bills; forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analysing variances; initiating corrective action.
