- Operator(s) are required to drive-operate a Passenger Boarding Bridge as per the procedures and working instructions laid down by the company.
- An operator must adhere-ensure to the following competencies whilst performing the task or operating the Passenger Boarding Bridge.
- Shall operate the PBB safely and as per the arrival and departure time of aircraft.

- Monitor the working condition of PBB and report to supervisor for timely repair-maintenance works.
- Comply with all the quality and safety procedures laid down by the company.
- Adhere to uniform rules and other HSE requirements as laid down by the supervisor at all times.
- Report any discrepancy, damage, incidents and accidents to the immediate superior immediately.
- Ensure compliance to safety and security regulations.
- Update knowledge of current company policy and procedures by regularly reading memos, circulars and manual updates.

Fresh Bachelor degree in a related discipline OR
Two years college Diploma in a related discipline with 2 years of relevant
experience, preferably in the Customer Service. OR IATA certificate or DGR
license for check-in with Secondary school having 4 years relevant experience.

- Ensure equipment are positioned and removed from the aircraft and catering unit by using marshaller and on time.

certificate with Valid Oman heavy duty Driving License and having 3 years of relevant

- Plan, arrange, identify and delegate work orders of all scheduled and non-routine scheduled services to the right technician- mechanic as per Job Card in order to ensure timely completion of all checks (A-B-C-D)
- Plan, coordinate and supervise the workshop activities related to Mechanics section in order to ensure highest possible equipment maintenance standards are maintained as per manufacturer’s recommendation and comply with company’s objectives.
- Monitor the performance of workshop staff to ensure all functions is in compliance with the company standards and ensure adhere to HSE policies and procedures.
- Monitor all floor activities and fill up Accident - Incident report for Manager – GSEW review in order to take necessary action steps to avoid future occurrences of industrial accidents
- On daily basis, brief all technicians and mechanics on tool box usage and handling procedures in order to ensure they adhere to safety compliances and regulations and make sure that all staff wears safety gears as mandatory requirements in the workshop floor.
- Check for the component - equipment time for servicing cycle and liaise with particular user department in order to request the equipment and carry out maintenance works.
- Visit manufacturer location for Pre Delivery Checks of heavy equipment before delivery.
Liaison Management
- Upon receiving request for requisitions, liaise with Stores personnel to procure pending requisitions and pass it on to the respective technicians- mechanics in order to complete their work on time as per Job Cards.
- Receive equipment from user departments and identify the capable technician- mechanic in order to work effectively on it within the stipulated time and handover the equipment back to the user department upon completion of work.
- Ensure that all discrepancies found in the workshop is brought to Senior Office notice for taking necessary action steps.
Other Duties
