A reputed garment manufacturing & exporting company is actively looking to place candidates from the following operations: Quality Assurance Manager (Kenya)
-Must know how to stitch & make trial samples for construction, quality & sewing aids requirements. -Review QA's & QC's performances & arrange for necessary training required. -Should ensure output from all departments in the factory meets buyer's requirements & standards. -Must be able to handle at least 4 buyers simultaneously & its AQL and minimum construction requirements. -Must have 10-15 years of experience. -Salary range would be USD 1500 - USD 2500 plus accommodation & other benefits Production Manager (Kenya / Ethiopia) -Should have sound technical abilities -Should know the sewing & industrial engineering techniques -Should be able to manage a sewing floor consisting of 1500 machines -Must have good administrative & managerial capabilities. -Should be able to handle a garment production of 50,000 pcs per day. -Must have 7-15 years of experience -Salary range would be USD 1500 - USD 2500 plus accommodation & other benefits QA Coordinator (Dubai) -Monitoring and follow up on overall quality status from Pre-production to Shipment -Reviewing, analyzing and preparing Quality reports as necessary -Maintain status and performance reports -Communicates and highlights quality related issues with Merchandisers, Factory and Top Management -Reviewing and making sure Quality systems and Procedures are up to date and are in-line with international requirement in Apparel industry -Coordinating and communicating with factory located overseas -Must have good knowledge in MS office particularly MS Excel -Must have 3-5 years of experience -Salary range would be USD 800 - USD 1200 plus accommodation & other benefits The ideal candidate must be from an Apparel / Garment Manufacturing background with a good command of the English language.

Strategic Responsibilities Participate in the development of the Group strategy by providing input from the perspective of the own Division, ensuring that relevant goals and objectives are incorporated. Introduce new brands/concepts/product when required, to capitalize and expand business potential, negotiate deals & details of new contracts, and decide on positioning of new outlets. Develop overall annual budgets and 5 years plans in line and coordination with the business strategy and respective functional heads; consolidate and refine the overall budget for the Division, and enforce its implementation. Ensure that graphics developed at head office are forwarded to all territories for implementation thus creating a uniform image Monitor store administration systems to maximize operational efficiency Formulate and implement Territory/Region/Area/Store strategies Develop & oversee long term strategic and shorter term tactical plans incorporating expenditure & revenue budgets designed to ensure that Divisions growth, profitability and return on investment is achieved. Direct and manage all aspects of the business in a manner which best enables the business plans to be achieved. Manage various aspects of new shops and plan implementation for timely opening, including suitable location, profitability parameters, and execution of store design as per principals specifications and overseeing project progress in terms of cost & quality control. Analyze market trends and customers preferences, decide on expenditure and approve buying plans and merchandising budgets in line with sales and business strategy for the division. Oversee that the highest levels of customer service is implemented in the business with continued compliance to internal and Principals requirements. Oversee the appropriate level of security and stock control to minimize in-store shrinkage. Conduct regular store visits to ensure implementation of best practices, and build motivational relation with store employees. Supervise low-performing stores and brands to drive quick, sustained and effective turnaround in performance. Monitor compliance of local laws relating to industry and ensure all outlets adhere and operate to the strict statutory requirement and established safety policies and standards Supervise end-to-end logistics processes, in coordination with the Logistics and Warehouse functions at the corporate, ensuring continued visibility on stock levels, shipments and accurate and timely distribution of goods and products to the BUs retail outlet People Develop motivational strategies of employees in the division as well as coach and mentor direct reports to ensure that all employees are encouraged to maximize their capability and contribution by being a role model in best practices. Plan and develop people for succession planning. Provide leadership and direction to subordinates towards the achievement of goals and objectives. Liaise closely with the Project Manager on all commercial matters to jointly obtain maximum commercial benefit from a project. Liaise with the Project Manager to prepare draft sub-contract documentation (including bid tabs/analysis) and to assist the Project Manager in obtaining the best commercial and technical deal available in the market. The quality assurance requirements of sub-contracts must be addressed. Produce monthly operating statements by prescribed dates and to discuss the commercial implications of that statement with the Project Manager to ensure there is an understanding of the commercial position of the Project. Undertake re-measurement and prepare, submit and agree monthly valuations, variations and final accounts. Interim accounts shall also be discussed with the Project Manager to allow engineering staff input. Awareness of site activities is fundamental. Prepare cash flows and claims documentation. Check that numbers of resources (labour, plant, and staff) and hours being worked are within tender/CTC allowances and review with the Project Manager. Identify areas of waste or loss on resources and advise the Project Manager. Monitor all Project correspondence for commercial issues and initiate commercial correspondence. Ensure site documentation is properly archived at Head Office at the end of the project. Ensure timely notices of default are issued to subcontractors and suppliers in accordance with terms of their Order or Sub-contract. Identify areas of commercial risk on the Project as early as possible and review with the Project Manager ways of avoiding that risk.
