We are now seeking an exceptional Senior Electrical Engineer to join our award winning team based on our Dubai Project.

This critical role will be responsible for maintaining communication with the client's site engineers on all project related issues, and reviewing and implementing electrical contract drawings and building specifications.
Paramount to success within this varied role will include;




* Demonstrated knowledge in mechanical techniques, procedures, and in all relevant international codes and standards.

* Demonstrated experience and capability in all aspects of the mechanical engineering discipline. 

* Demonstrated ability to maintain a positive client relationship and the firms' professional image.

* Ability to understand, identify and assess project risk.

* Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written communication.

* Good knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications.







To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that you will bring a minimum of 10 years of broad-based engineering experience, including commercial and project management experience, preferably in the region. A Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering is required.

We are now seeking an exceptional Resident Engineer to join our award winning team based on our Qatar project.
Paramount to success within this varied role will include; 


* Provide leadership and subject matter expertise to the project to achieve time, cost, quality and safety objectives.

* Monitor and report on the production of information with respect to the discipline-related services submittal progress.

* Review submitted shop drawings and material submittals against the drawings and specifications, local codes and statutory requirements and international best practice.

* Check and ensure co-ordination between discipline-related services works and all other disciplines.

* Provide technical input and experience to resolve discipline-related engineering issues on the Project.

* Maintain open communication with the client and contractor's discipline engineers on project related issues.

* Attend technical and progress meetings with the contractor/client's representative.





To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that you will bring a minimum of 15 years' career experience with a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or MEP.

Preferential consideration will also be given to candidates whom possess a LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP) and / or GSAS Certified Green Professional (CGP) certification.

Bilingual communication skills in both English and Arabic are essential.

This critical role will be responsible for providing all necessary assistance to the construction team with respect to materials submittals, approvals, testing and sampling. 

Paramount to success within this varied role will include; 
• Ensuring compliance of used materials with the project specifications.
• Participating in the quality control of materials including all the laboratory and field testing, acceptance of used materials, checking and accepting all remedial and corrective measures. 
• Participating in construction quality control.
• Supervising, participate and direct sampling and testing of all materials according to the contract and the specifications.
• Analysing the test results in a timely manner and recommending action to the Senior Resident Engineer.
• Maintaining records of test results and all corrective actions taken.
• Tracking and review the site testing and certificates of compliance.
• Following up and verifying implementation of corrective actions.
• Ensuring inspections and checking of all delivered materials to site for conformance to the project requirements and approval.

• Ensuring the delivery of the contracted PM/CM services to the client.
• Participating in establishing and implementing the Project Management Plan and procedures.
• Preparing tender strategy; identifying qualified consultants, contractors and vendors; preparing and issuing RFP’s, evaluating proposals; negotiating contract terms/deliverables/payment schedules; and issuing recommendations to the client.
• Overseeing and guiding consultants design progress activities and monitoring and verifying design progress and submittals at all design phases.
• Organising and managing design review meetings, workshops and reports during design phases.
• Assisting with the development and maintenance of the risk management plan.
• Reviewing and monitoring project schedules.
• Verifying, recommending and processing invoices and assess of variations and claims.

This critical role will be responsible for undertaking inspections on site in accordance with the civil related Inspection and Test Plans (ITP's).

Responsibilities:

Paramount to success within this varied role will include;
• Attending to Inspection Requests (IR's) submitted by the contractor and take appropriate action in a timely manner.
• Review submitted shop drawings against contract drawings and specifications, local codes and statutory requirements and international best practice.
• Report any works carried out by contractor found to not be in accordance with approved drawing and specifications and report to stakeholders for appropriate action.
• Monitor quality of works and assess the safety at site including health and environmental issues, ensuring compliance with contractual / QCS specifications and safety and health risk assessments. 
• Maintain records for daily activities on site including progress photos and ensure they are readily available for inspection as and when required.
• Prepare surveillance report(s) for deficiencies of work found at site and non conformance reports (NCR) if required in view of the development of events.
• Check and ensure effective co-ordination between discipline related works and all other disciplines.
• Provide technical input and experiences to resolve any discipline related issues on site that may arise.
To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that you will bring a minimum of 1-2 years' career experience partnered with a Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering.
