Urgently required for a HYUNDAI ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION COMPANY for their Projects in KUWAIT.

QUALIFICATION: DEGREE IN CIVIL PLANNING ENGINEER
EXPERIENCE: MORE THAN 10 YEARS WORK EXPERIENCE AS A CIVIL PLANNING ENGINEER / PROJECT CONTROL WORK.
AT LEAST 3-5 YEARS OVERSEAS EXPERIENCE IN THE SAME POSITION.
RESPONSIBILITY:
1. OVERALL IN CHARGE FOR LNG TANK WORKS, ESPECIALLY CONCRETE STRUCTURE WORK-POST TENSIONING, ETC.
2. PREPARE BILL OF QUANTITIES, AND BILL OF MATERIAL (BM) DERIVED FROM IFC/AFA DRAWINGS.
3. REVIEW PROJECT SPECIFICATIONS AND COMPARE AGAINST MATERIAL TECHNICAL DETAILS, AND MATERIAL PROPOSAL (MAR) DOCUMENTS FOR CLIENT'S APPROVAL.
4. REVIEW AND EVALUATE SUB-CON INVOICE / INTERIM VALUATIONS.
5. PREPARE TECHNICAL QUERIES (TQ) AND DOCUMENT CHANGE AUTHORIZATION (DCA) AS REQUIRED THROUGHOUT THE PERIOD OF THE PROJECT.
6. PLANNING, ESTIMATION, AND MONITORING OF CIVIL MATERIAL TO ENSURE SUFFICIENT SUPPLY AT SITE.
7. TECHNICAL COORDINATOR
8. PREPARE UNIT RATES AND QUANTITIES AS REQUIRED BY PROJECT'S PROJECT CONTROL DEPARTMENT.
9. SCHEDULE AND PROGRESS REPORTING
10. CHECK ALL ISSUED DRAWINGS AND MAKE A COMPOSITE DRAWING TO DISCOVER DRAWING ERROR IN ADVANCE.
11. ENSURE SAFETY AWARENESS IN THE WORK PLACE & IN THE VICINITY ALL THE TIME.
12. AUTO CAD AND M.S. OPERATING.

Overall Purpose of the Role This role requires the job holder to perform wiring and assembly works for control system cabinet activities as per Emerson's facility Quality Management System. The position begins with a training program followed by on-job training. Roles and responsibilities: * Successfully complete training program of various control system products * Successfully complete assigned on-job training utilizing knowledge obtained from training program * Perform assembly and wiring of cabinet as per approved cabinet drawings * Perform continuity test and loop test * Perform packing * Perform visual material inspection and material check * Support pre-FAT and FAT tests * Perform all works as per Emerson Quality Management System and safety requirements

The Role
The project is still in the design stage, however the contract has been awarded and construction works are ongoing. The focus for the individual will be upon package procurement and progress of works on site. Faithful+Gould are currently looking for an experienced Project/ Construction Manager to form part of our Project Management Consultant (PMC) project team based in Dubai. The main objective of the PMC is the successful delivery of a very large, high quality hospitality project in accordance with the client’s expectations with regards to budget, program, and quality compliance. Responsibilities: • In conjunction with the Supervision Consultant identify any non-conformance and coordinate appropriate rectification • Oversee contractor progress and identify any progress concerns • Review of design consultants and contractors for compliance with their contractual responsibilities. • Identify risks and develop appropriate mitigation measures in conjunction with the PMC team and the client • Oversee the technical submittal process and identify any issues inhibiting the process of submission, review and approval. • In conjunction with the Supervision Consultant, ensure ITP’s and Work Method Statements have been correctly prepared, approved, and complied with by the contractor • Oversee the Lead Consultants performance in finalising authority design approvals, and the contractor’s performance in relation to obtaining necessary authority permits during installation and at completion • Conduct periodic inspections and advise the PMC team and client regarding compliance. • Participate in any necessary quality audits in relation to MEP works • Review contractor schedules in relation to procurement, installation, and testing and commissioning, and identify any potential delays or progress concerns • Assist the PMC team with change management and provide any necessary recommendations upon the same • Manage the handover of the building/s to the Operator • Ensure As-builts and O&M Manuals requirements are completed in accordance with the owner and operator’s requirements • Manage defects rectification during the defects liability period • Attend coordination meetings. Requirements
• Project/ Construction Management qualifications in the form of a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in a related field; • 12+ years of related experience; • Track record in the delivery of large multi functional projects; • Technically proficient and able to understand the requirements of the various disciplines involved in large hospitality projects • Ability to identify key issues and risks associated with system design and installation, and ability to coordinate management and resolution of the same in consultation with client, designer, and contractor. • A “rounded profile”, comfortable with overseeing all aspects of design, technical submittal procedures, procurement, installation (QA/QC), and testing and commissioning. • Effective in building good working relationships with client, contractor, and design team.
