The Role 
Camp Manager (Multiple Sites)  A leading Hospitality and Facilities Management provider is looking for an experienced Camp Manager to join their team in Kuwait.   Purpose of the role: The Camp Manager will be responsible for leading, managing and developing the operations teams in large camp locations along with other remote site units He/she will be responsible for day-to-day operations and creating organizational and program budgets in collaboration with the Director of Operations.  Responsibilities:   The role will have the following areas of activity: • Operation Management  • Management of resources  • Financial Management • Communication  Operation Management: The role involves overseeing the provision of services. He/she will ensure that the operation is functioning as per the contract requirement with a smooth efficient service that meets the expectations and needs of customers and clients.  Specifically: • Oversee the development of operational strategy in cooperation with the Operations Director and other department managers.  • Establish and implement departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures, consulting with Director of Operation and staff members as necessary. • Monitor the operation to ensure efficiency and effectiveness are provided in our services while staying within budgetary limits. • Lead innovation and continuous improvement  Management of resources: Leading a role in managing our products and personnel. Oversight of inventory, purchasing and supplies is central to the job. Human resources tasks include determining needs, hiring employees, overseeing assignment of employees and planning staff development.  Specifically : • Manage staff, preparing work schedules and assigning specific duties. • Monitor, manage and improve the efficiency of support services such as IT, Finance, Supply Chain and Human Resources within the operation. • Determine staffing requirements, and interview, hire and train new employees, or oversee those personnel processes.  Financial Management: He/she will play a key role in budgeting, controlling costs and keeping the project on track financially. E.g. the management of the supply chain and other resources helps minimize costs of production.   Specifically:  • Review financial statements, sales and activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and process improvement. • Conduct study in business forecasts, sales reports and financial statements to find ways to maximize results.  Communication: Good communication and interpersonal skills will be required to be able to make organization work together. This means creating a positive culture and facilitate communication between employees and departments.   Specifically • Manage and motivate the site managers to ensure the successful fulfilment of their responsibilities, using established work review, employee development and performance management procedures and guidelines. • Manage staff related and employment issues, in line with company’s training policies and procedures and in consultation with Director of Operation and the HR department. • Build rapport with the client/s and facilitate effective coordination and communication between management and client • Cooperate in high-level decision making with the management 
Requirements 
• At least 5 years’ experience in a similar capacity with any degree • The ability to manage in a diverse environment with focus on client and customer services • Strong organizational and time management skills • Service oriented with successful experience in the catering or hospitality fields at large camps operations (3,000+) for the past 10 years (out of which 4 to 5 years in Middle East) • Proven track record in effective management of all resources (people, procedures, place and profit)  • Financial management skills. Outstanding budgetary and cost control management • Ability to demonstrate effective communication skills in particular presentation of technical or non-technical information (e.g. to operational teams, clients or colleagues). • Fluent in English and Arabic.
