The ideal candidate is expected amongst other things to;

• Lead and manage the Marketing and Business Development functions to identify, evaluate and implement initiatives designed to stimulate growth and increase client’s revenue.
• Participate in the identification and evaluation of potential new business opportunities & products 
• Drive cross selling by various divisions of all the Group’s products
• Assist in the preparation of detailed new business proposals and associated business plans to create supportive arguments for new business opportunities
• Develop new client list and follow up for business for Group products & Services.
• Carry out marketing survey of market and competitor’s status and market needs.
• Provide market feedback to the company leadership regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs and generate product development idea.
The ideal candidate should have;

• Leadership, negotiation, team building and management skills
• Proven ability to develop and manage relationships with various stakeholders
• Sound analytical and problem-solving skills

The candidate should ideally possess the following.

• A degree in Marketing, Business Management, Commerce or any related discipline
• An MBA in Marketing or Business Management is a plus
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the GCC region preferably with a family owned business or multi-national company covering branding, merchandising, business development, product launches and campaigning.

Mall Management & Leasing Manager

OmanCareers is seeking to recruit a candidate to fill the position of 'Mall Management and Leasing Manager', who will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of mall management including but not limited to leasing and tenant relations, business planning and financial management, facilities and operational management and control of all maintenance inspection and safety functions.

The successful candidate is expected to carry out the following tasks:

• Develop a structured business plan for the mall covering all key components of mall operations
• Develop sales and leasing plans to identify new clients and negotiate with prospective tenants to maximize income in line with the business plan 
• Ensure proper tenant mix and zoning within the mall in line with business strategy and market demand and to achieve desired footfall
• Develop and maintain a long term beneficial relationship with all existing tenants and Retail Groups to ensure continued and future business
• Develop and implement approved procedures and systems across all mall functions to ensure smooth co-ordination / co-operation among various internal departments to facilitate business needs and deliver positive customer and tenant experience
• Prepare plans and schedules for regular and periodic maintenance in conjunction with relevant department heads and follow up on quality and execution
The ideal candidate should have;

• Extensive knowledge of Retail Real Estate industry
• Experience with luxury segment of the market
• Strong business acumen and good technical knowledge of Commercial Facilities

The candidate should ideally possess the following.

• Minimum of 10 years Mall Management experience preferably in the GCC region including mall development, mall launching and mall renovation
• Mixed use development experience is an advantage
• Knowledge of managing leasing contracts and negotiation, exposure to tender management
• Understanding and experience in managing Service Level Agreements (cleaning, security, facilities management etc.)

Maintenance Manager

Our Client is located within the Port of Sohar Free Zone in the Sultanate of Oman. It is a joint venture company between the government of the Sultanate of Oman and a multi-national company with vast experience and capabilities in exploration geology, mining, and mineral processing. 

OmanCareers is seeking to recruit an OMANI to fill the position of 'Maintenance Manager', who will be responsible for the safe maintenance, repair or replacement of plant equipment and systems, to ensure maximum production quantity and quality, while supporting the policies, goals and objectives of our client. The ideal candidate would oversee all aspects of facility maintenance, reliability, and facility projects. He/She would also supervise and coordinate the activities of workers/contractors engaged in setting up, installing, repairing, and maintaining of facilities, utilities, machinery and equipment. 

The ideal candidate is expected amongst other things to;

- Ensure a safe and environmentally compliant working environment for the staff and people.
- Reduce plant downtime through optimisation of equipment performance by providing a cost-effective maintenance service.
- Be accountable for providing effective services that ensure all plant areas are operating within approved budgets for maintenance cost through enhanced planning and job organisation.
- Monitor steps of the maintenance process, observe control points and equipment, develop reporting procedures and systems.
- Continuously improve maintenance efficiency and productivity of plant machinery and personnel, involving training, new technologies and an atmosphere for innovation and operational excellence
The ideal candidate should have;

The candidate should ideally possess the following.

- Bachelor Degree in an Engineering discipline
- A Masters or professional certification in Maintenance & Operations Management
- A Masters or professional certification in Metallurgy or Mineral Processing is a plus
- Proven track record in maintenance, streamlining processes, optimizing plant efficiency and, maintaining high quality plant equipment and processes.
