Faithful+Gould are currently looking for an experienced Commercial/Contracts Manager to form part of our Programme/Project Management Consultant (PMC) project team based in Doha. The PMC is collocated and embedded within our Client organisation for a large mixed use development in central Doha. The project is expected to last for at least a further 2 years.

Responsibilities:
• Support to all existing operations within a private sector organisation, through all the project phases, particularly those related to Commercial Management (procurement, cost, contractual etc), assessing both the strengths and weaknesses and compiling a comprehensive reports for presentation to the client.
• Full quantity surveying services as required. 
• Responsible for maintaining and enhancing F+G reputation with the Client and developing effective long term client relationships thus identifying and developing new opportunities for the Group
• Must be conversant in all of the following:
• Procurement Management which includes the development of a procurement and contracting strategy 
• Contract Management and Administration including the supervision, review, monitoring, evaluation and reporting on all consultant and contractor contracts
• Budget and Cost Control – provide an oversight of the Master Budget and each of the constituent projects and contracts which form part of the overall programme
• Payment Applications – review of all the payment applications with a summary of all findings and a final recommendation on payments 
• Variation Assessment – review, assess, value all variations and make recommendations to the client
• Claims Management – review, identify and track causes, check validity, assess time and cost impacts and make recommendations to the client
• Final Accounts – manage the preparation, submittal, review and settlement of accounts.

• Degree qualified professional who has reached Managerial level, 
• 15 years of experience and preferably have experience similar to this project/role. 
• membership of a recognised professional body, 
• capable of reviewing existing operations within an organisation through all the project phases (processes and procedures in both office and site), 
• assessing both the strengths and weaknesses and assisting in compiling a bespoke set of process and procedures of all of the activities including but not limited to quality, progress, commercial matters, value, safety, design and construction. 
• An experienced Commercial/Contracts Manager with a demonstrable track record in the delivery of large multi functional projects.
• Knowledge of project controls procedures. 
• A “rounded profile”, comfortable with planning, analysis and managing process and commercial considerations. The successful candidate should also be able to drive for a successful delivery. 
• Effective in building good working relationships within complex structures both within projects, with clients and internally. 
• A minimum of 5 years experience working in USA, Canada or Western European Countries is preferable.

Drainage Engineer- Design/Lead Engineer

We are currently looking for an experienced Drainage Engineer to join our team based in Al Khobar.

The Engineer will have the ability to project manage complex projects and lead a team on storm water network schemes including pumping stations, storage tanks, pipeline, and to supervise a team of Technicians and Graduate Engineers in the production feasibility studies, detail designs, specifications and technical reports, tender and construction drawings in line with the client requirements, local authority requirements and Atkins quality procedures. The successful candidate will take a leading role in the department, particularly with respect to storm drainage network design and analysis. He will be capable of providing planning, leadership and technical expertise in management of complex and interdisciplinary projects. He should have previous experience in the design of sea outfalls, storm water management projects and design of retention ponds.
The Ideal candidate will have a minimum qualification of Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent, having a minimum of 10 years' experience in infrastructure design industry. The experience will include usage and knowledge of storm water modelling tools such as Stormcad, WinDes, Inforworks etc., 

- Degree in Civil Engineering or other appropriate qualification. 
- Minimum of 10 years post graduate experience in infrastructure consultancy work taking a lead role in storm water design works. 
- Demonstrate a high level of expertise in design
- Good knowledge of local and international codes and standards
- Experience of liaison with Utility authorities on development of sewerage and drainage systems 
- Experience of managing and interfacing directly with clients 
- Proven track record for delivery of concept through to detailed designs for storm networks 
- Ideally, shall be proficient in the use of lighting software such as Stormcad, WinDes, Inforworks etc.
- Able to produce technical reports in English in a clear and concise form. 
- Able to communicate effectively with both colleagues and clients 
- Able to work with and manage technicians 
- Good presentational skills
- Ability to manage projects and design commissions relating to infrastructure projects 
- A competent ability to utilise Microsoft Office suite of products and Microsoft Project
- Work experience in design of major storm water network including storm water pumping stations, drainage pond solutions and sea outfalls.
