Job Description
Duties and responsibilities - Participate and contribute in the project kickoff process to enable accurate initial analysis on Brand and Retailer data requirements. - Design and describe Data mapping and transformation solutions by writing epics, stories, acceptance criteria and reference documentation. - Build lean and powerful ETL solutions for use within the Customer platform. - Understand, analyse and document client data in a variety of formats. - Use a variety of tools to effectively manipulate, aggregate and reduce large datasets - Analyse and provide recommendations for the resolution of any data gaps. - Identify, validate and document functionality enhancements for the Customer platform. - Liaise with project management to provide realistic timeframes and identify any potential issues. - Engage with project analysis, development and testing teams to facilitate effective project execution.

Required Qualifications/Experience - Minimum of 3 years IT or Data analysis, Applications consultancy or Technical IT consultancy required. - Minimum of 2 years- experience of one or more relevant software solutions that Customer will integrate with (WMS, ERP, OMS, PIM, Ecommerce) or of integrating to these systems required. - Minimum of 2 years- experience in a development focused environment. - Experience of working in at least 1 data integration project. - Knowledge of general retail principles and practices required. - Experience of reading and understanding data in file formats such as CSV, XML, Excel, JSON etc. Desirable Qualifications/Experience - Experience working with any structured software development methodology e.g. agile, Kanban, Scrum, XP. - Implementation experience of systems which form part of or span the supply chain of Clothing / Footwear / Apparel / Fashion Retail. - Experience of working in online retail in the fashion industry or experience of ecommerce systems used by retailers. - Experience of working with data transport protocols such as SFTP, REST, SOAP etc. Required Skills - Use of data querying/manipulation tools and procedures. Examples include (but are not limited to): - Advanced use of Excel (Vlookups, Pivot tables, VBA) - SQL - grep - Regex - XPath - ETL software - High Level understanding of software development processes required. - Any other recommendations for this list- Desirable Skills - High Level understanding of integration via middleware. - Experience of using diagramming/wireframing software (e.g Visio, OmniGraffle, Lucidcharts, Gliffy, iGrafx). - A working knowledge of Mac OS. - Experience of working with the Google suite of applications (docs, sheets, drive, gmail etc). - A working knowledge of Confluence and JIRA Working Days : 5 Days a Week (9:00 AM to 6:00 PM)
