Area Sales Manager

Manpower Middle East

The position reports to the Director Sales & Marketing. 

Main Duties: 
• Plans, proposes, agrees and monitors achievement of sales targets. 
• Responsible for all aspects of dealer sales performance under assigned number of dealers and profitability in compliance with the Company Retail Standards. 
• Coordinates within the regional office to support importers in order to achieve the agreed sales (production, wholesale, retail) and Sales-CSI targets. 
• Acts as custodian of the Group brands. 
• Cares for and advises dealers in all matters related to automobile sales including implementation of dealer marketing activities. Conducts regular market visits to review operations in order to monitor the Importers performance.
• Min. 5 years experience in Automotive industry, in vehicles sales and/or aftersales in co-operation with Dealers / Importers. 
• Strong commercial background with good knowledge of accounting and financial statements (profit and loss account, balance sheet). 
• Good knowledge of current relevant IT systems and IT applications. 
• Well-developed coaching and negotiating skills. 
• Strong analytical skills. 
• Results-driven self-starter with strong initiative. 
• Degree in business administration or relevant. 
• Fluent in English and ideally Arabic.

Pricing Analyst

Our client, a well-known distributor of Chemicals and commercial and industrial lubricants is now recruiting for a Pricing Analyst.

The position reports to the REGIONAL MARKETING MANAGER MEA and is focused on overall maintenance of MEA pricing and rebates system, price performance reporting in support of achieving and exceeding sales targets, customer records maintenance, sales analysis and reporting in support of business development projects, while at the same time securing compliance of processes in those areas. This person will be expected to proactively identify, recommend and implement improvements in terms of price performance, data accuracy and response time to Sales and marketing. Collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Supply chain and Master Data departments is at the core of the role.

Responsibilities include:
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, product management and supply chain as it relates to pricing and profitability analysis
• Create, maintain and coordinate system implementation of 10+ Commercial country price lists
• Assist sales on price evaluations in business development projects
• Maintain customer off list prices, evaluate regularly, measure performance, communicate outputs to sales and coordinate timely system settings
• Provide monthly review of costs developments per supply point, analyze price lists profitability, compare, report out
• Secure price data accuracy, monitor, manage and update system pricing as needed, both for SAP and Commercial country price lists
• Ad hoc activities related to pricing and profitability reporting and management (invoice pricing troubleshooting, time critical sales enquires, error corrections, price claims)
• Manage tactical and administrative activities of pricing approval, approval documents and work flow, maintain approval archive (responsibility and accountability in processing and archiving highly confidential information including approval documents, customer pricing and report data)
• Collaborate with sales, marketing and financial department on rebate agreements evaluations
• Coordinate rebate agreements process end-to-end, set and issue regular sales performance reports on customer / rebate level
• Manage Business development funds process end-to-end (evaluate requests, liaise with Accounting and Legal in agreement execution, set tracking system, coordinate funds requests)
• MEA Power user for system BW sales reporting, provide training updates to the team
• Customer master system set-up request and customer records maintenance, including regular reviews of customer conditions
• Exercise care and attention in all activities, in support of profit improvement
• Minimum high school diploma, preferably with the Accounting background
• 2 years financial analysis or 3-5 years sales or customer service analysis
• Work experience in an International company is preferred
• IT literate (MS Office), proficient in Excel (vlookups, pivot tables and graphs)
• Fluent in English (both verbal and written)
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to present information and respond to questions in a fast and comprehensive manner
• Ability to manage multiple projects at once with a sense of urgency required to work in a deadline driven environment
• Accurate, detail oriented, well organized and pro-active with regard to improvements and administration
• Positive attitude, team player, self- motivated
• ERP experience preferred (SAP and BW reporting preferred)

Regional Franchising Manager

The Franchise Manager’s primary responsibility is to assist Franchisees during the pre-opening phase and the on-going franchisee and to provide ongoing support in order to ensure the Franchisee achieves sustainable growth, and operate according to corporate standards. In order to do so, you will conduct site visits, help analyzing business plans and optimize pricing strategies, co-ordinate training and workshops with other departments, guide Franchisees through the opening phase by following through a checklist, and ensure compliance with the manual by conducting Audits and other checks. 

The following main duties should be understood to describe the most important aspects of the job. 
• The job holders may be required by their supervisor to perform any other related duties as they may arise. 
• Revisions and modifications will be carried out as the necessity arises. 
• Managing sub franchisees with coordination with franchisor. 
• Act as an intermediary between Franchisees and various departments. 
• Guide Franchisees through the opening process: Getting them in touch with relevant departments, briefing them on the company’s corporate standards, and working through a pre-opening check-list. 
• Ensure compliance with corporate standards by performing Audits or various other checks. 
• Provide on-the-job training for all softwares, policies and procedures. 
• Provide a basic level of training and assistance in areas such as Pricing, Marketing and Accounting, and refer to relevant departments for further assistance. 
• Analyze business plans, give advice and assist with identifying areas of improvement. 
• Plan and organize meeting to address franschise issues. 
• Overall development and management of the State and Local Tax practice. 
• Supervise, manage, develop, coach and mentor State and Local Tax professionals within the team. 
• Client relationship management including direct responsibility for specific clients and engagements.
• 10 years experience 
• Minimum of Bachelor Degree Holder in Marketing / Sales / Commercial 
• This is a mid- to senior level position for applicants with 10 years of experience. 
• Must have good knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint. 
• Exceptional interpersonal skills required. 
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skill 
• Strong organizational and management skills and the ability to multi-task. 
• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. 
• Must have the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment. 
• Preferable to be familiar with GCC region and culture.
