Operations Business Analyst

The Business Analyst is directly involved in executing organizational development projects, such as control room monitoring, data analytics, ad-hoc operational reporting, strategy development and implementation and business process management.
The holder of this position reports to the Regional Managing Director and works across the administration office while serving the whole business units. 

ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Leads data compilation and analysis for dispatch control room.
• Monitors efficiency of Vehicle Control team and on ground operations.
• Standardize weekly reports across MWP Operations for both low and high level purposes.
• Lead and execute organizational development projects.
• Develop and implement strategy and organization structures.
• Work on the operating model design & business optimization projects.
• Execute business process management, business improvement and business transformation projects.
• Assist in project management activities of various business improvement initiatives; act as coordinator between project team members and business analysis function.
• Prepare project management documents such as status reports and issue / risk log sheets and monitor the performance and completion of project plans.
• Conduct research on various business aspects by using different resources and best practice application and aim at building rich informational environment that supports proper decision-making.
• Coordinate with external consultants on various initiatives and facilitate fact findings and collection of data.
• Analyze collected data and information acquired in connection to various business improvement or research studies.
• Use visual aid techniques and presentation skills effectively to establish and summarize key documents and reports.
Complies with the Health & Safety instructions:
• Responsible for exercising due diligence towards health & safety of self and others within the organization
• Ensures compliance with the applicable HSE instructions, requirements, laws and regulations received from customers, regulatory and statutory bodies
• Review effectiveness of the QHSE system on a regular basis
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Economics. MBA is an advantage.
• Minimum of 3 years work experience in business management or research.

Operations Controller

The main purpose of this position is to control the area(s) assigned to him, so that refuse collection is executed in the best quality and within the set schedule and operational budget. 

ACCOUNTABILITIES 
• Executes tasks assigned to him by his superior, as per the time schedules and approved operating budget. 
• Organizes and distributes work among his team, and supervises the implementation of work plans. 
• Determines his area’s needs for non-budgeted resources during unscheduled special occasions requiring extra services, and coordinates with the concerned as per the adopted procedures to provide these resources. 
• Coordinates with the concerned, as per the adopted procedures to reduce the expenditure of budgeted resources during unanticipated slow periods. 
• Receives complaints and requests for special tasks from his manager, deals with them promptly, and reports feedback. 
• Monitors work progress and reports unresolved problems to his manager. 
• Suggests modifications on routing plans (Sweep and Collection) and container distribution aiming at the optimization of the refuse collection processes. 
• Monitors the performance of his area’s vehicles, Laborers productivity. 
• Assesses his subordinates’ performance, determines training needs and suggests disciplinary actions. 
• Reviews his subordinates’ work progress reports, and raises a summary report to his manager, on a timely basis. 
• On a timely basis, provides his manager with manpower time sheets and request his approval on overtime hours. 
• Develops documentation necessary to ensure effective control of health, safety and environmental aspects of all activities and promote HSE awareness within the department 
• Ensures quality & safety within functions/ tasks performed by himself and staff reporting to him.

Weighbridge Operator

• Control & coordinate waste movement on and off sites so that all acceptable waste materials entering or leaving the Landfill are recorded and accounted for, in line with licensing requirements.
• Direct traffic coming onto site and operate weighbridge, recording all vehicles entering/leaving the site;
• Record weights & waste type by vehicle, completing appropriate documentation and collect driver signatures, etc for accounting purpose; update system accordingly;
• Maintain the weighbridge and general area of the weighbridge including the office in a clean, tidy and hazard free condition;
• Adhere to licensing guidelines and collate monthly data by waste type & by customer as part of management information and for environmental returns;
• Assist with general administrative duties and customer service, 
• Attend training and develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills.
• Complete any other reasonable tasks or requests as required, in order to meet KPIs.
