We are now seeking an exceptional Proposals Manager to join our award winning team based within our Infrastructure Division, Abu Dhabi.

This critical role will be reporting through to the Managing Director - Infrastructure and be responsible for overseeing the timely delivery of proposals and leading the continuous development of new techniques to enhance the proposal process and the final proposal deliverable.
Requirements
Paramount to success within this varied role will include ;
• Leading the proposal teams, ensuring compliance with established processes and procedures, tracking all proposal progress, including the entire end-to-end process and post-submittal follow-up with clients
• Leading in the development/discovery of proposal themes, discriminators and win strategies including proposal kick-off and status/review meetings, recording and disseminating minutes and action items / responsibilities and leading in debriefs and lessons-learned, identifying areas in need of improvement and solutions
• Leading in the creation of proposal documents and formats, tailoring standard draft text, project datasheets and CVs in order to satisfy client evaluation criteria in conjunction with graphic designer input
• Managing production milestones, administrative requests for information, corporate financial data and file management of proposal information

To be successful in this role we envision that you will bring a minimum of 10 years' career experience, with your most recent 3 years' experience in a similar management role within the construction and engineering industry sectors.
You will offer proven experience in writing proposal content and coordinating the internal and external flow of proposal inputs and outputs (RFPs, addenda, clarifications, confirmation faxes, queries, letters, etc.)
Partnered with a Bachelor degree in either marketing, business, communications, journalism or a related discipline, the successful candidate will possess excellent English communication skills, including strong editing and proof reading capability.
Arabic communication skills will be viewed favourably.

The Role
One of our clients is a well-known infrastructure Contractor in the UAE who have recently been awarded a number of projects. To keep up with the demand on these projects they require a Procurement Manager to come in and join their team. They are busy in Dubai and Abu Dhabi and expect more project awards soon, so this is a great time to be joining the company.

We are looking for someone with a degree in either Civil or Mechanical Engineering who has experience working in a similar role. You should have good knowledge of the local market and be able to bring that to the company. You should also be experience in a job of similar seniority, for example as a Senior Materials Engineer or Senior Procurement Officer. You must be able to demonstrate your experience working on large Infrastructure projects with reputable companies in the GCC. Particular importance will be given to Road and Bridge projects, knowledge of electrical materials, pipes, mechanical and steel is a necessity.

We are looking for an expert in International Standards, for example ISO9001, ASTM and SESM. You should be motivated and have experience of building and developing a Procurement Department. Being able to establish and implement systems within the business, having excellent writing and leadership skills are all needed for this role.

Preference will be given to those candidates who can start sooner rather than later.

We are looking for an expert in FIDIC type contracts who has an astute knowledge of claims, EOT's and substantiations of claims. You should be motivated and have experience of building and developing a Contract Department. The ability to deal with Clients and Subcontractors is important as well as being able to lead a team and manage them accordingly.
