England (UK)
Tier 2 Visa
Sponsorship to the UK will be offered for the successful candidate.

JOB PURPOSE
To provide a general Ophthalmic service, incorporating the sub-specialty of oculoplastics via outpatient clinics and theatres in collaboration with other medical, nursing and technical staff.
To develop networks with neighboring trusts to the benefit of the service
To ensure that all parts of the service are being delivered in line with national and NICE guidelines
Teaching of Junior Staff, Medical Students, Optometrists and other professionals.
To provide supervision and training to Junior Hospital Doctors.
To participate in clinical audit, evidence based practice and Clinical Governance within the Department.
To participate in regional sub-specialty audit and Clinical Governance.
To participate actively in continuing professional development (CPD).

Position:-
Software Developer - Java Technologies
Responsibilities :
Responsibilities :
I nvolved
in all phases of typical systems development life cycle and support
Perform high
level technical analysis activities, such as requirements gathering and gap
analysis of user requirements.
Provide
expert knowledge and experience to estimate the technical effort required to
implement solutions.
Work as part
of a team creating specifications, design documents and writing code in
accordance with standards.
Conduct unit
tests.
Proactively
report on project progress against schedule.
Educational requirements :
Computer
Science degree or equivalent.
Key Skills
1. MUST have
RECENT experience ( meaning the candidate is currently using or has used it in
the previous 6 months in work related projects) in CORE Java EE ( either
version 6 or 7 is fine ). A course or pet project do not constitute
'experience' .
2. MUST have RECENT experience with JSF ( Java Server Faces )
3. MUST have RECENT experience with Hibernate and with relational DBs ( Oracle preferred, but we'd accept any other SQL DB if equivalent experience )
Requirements:-
1. Extensive Java development experience (Java EE 6/7) using JSF 2.x and Struts
2. Proven Experience with Oracle SQL and Relational Databases in general.
3. Experience with Hibernate ORM.
4. Experience deploying applications in complex Application Server environments ( including clusters and HA solutions )
5. Experience with build & development best-practices/tools ( eg use of SVN, IDEs, etc. ).
6. Experience with Agile Software Development methodologies
7. Experience with scripting ( shell, python, etc ) and use of automation tools such as Ant etc.
8. Good communication and interpersonal skills
9. Must be organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, disciplined, professional and a team player.
Additional requirements :
1. Shift must overlap ( at least 3 hours ) with NA working hours.
2. 9x5 seated support with 24x7x365 on-call support expected
