Representative Head - Corporate Banking
Representative Head- Dubai
Role Purpose:

- To consistently grow the Corporate Bank relationships, business and revenue in a profitable and cost effective manner through management of a portfolio of Global names across the network
- To deeply understand client needs and objectives and identify opportunities for Corporate Bank to support Client in addressing problems and challenges relating to sustainable growth and profitability
Key responsibilities :
- To deal with and to comply with the regulator in Dubai (as a Rep-Office )
- To handle expenses on a monthly basis and monitor that all employer taxes are paid in due time
- Act as a single entry point of accountability for a portfolio of globally networked clients and ensure appropriate face to face coverage with key contacts in all regions
- Attain targeted sales goals, performance targets and customer satisfaction through the effective management of resources
- Build an account profile/executive briefing document for the global team and provide leadership to the dispersed Local Account Managers through regular structured communication via conference calls, online meetings, emails etc
- Leverage on the network relationships to generate increased revenue across all products spectrums for each Client
Business Development :
- Understand client requirements and provide with products and services to satisfy client needs and achieve strategic objectives
- Develop executive contact plan and arrange meetings with appropriate Executive Director or the Chairman
CANDIDATE PROFILE :
- You will be a degree holder, a Bachelors/Master's degree in Business & Administration, Marketing or related field of study
- A good understanding of the Gulf business environment
- At least 8 years sales or finance experience with good sales track record preferably in the Corporate Banking sector, including knowledge of trade finance products.
- Ability to interact and negotiate with the Client organisations at the global decision making level
- Client focused & results orientated
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in relevant languages to the accounts assigned.
- Ability to pull together various resources to sell and deliver client soutions
- Good organizational and time management skills are highly desirable

- Strong leader who can make tough calls

We have a challenging opportunity opened up for the role of Consultant in our Energy & Utilities audit practice.

The Consultant role in Energy & Utilities requires multi-dimensional capabilities. They are responsible for growing existing accounts, risk-based audit planning, project execution and reporting.

Consultants develop a deep understanding of clients business and build lasting relationships with client personnel. They demonstrate technical competence in their product group and industry, understand clients perspective and become the de-facto go-to-person. They are responsible for serving clients and ensuring outstanding quality execution of projects.

Energy & Utilities Practice

Energy & Utilities practice is a business vertical that services both the consulting and internal audit line of service in Protiviti. The focus areas for Energy & Utilities practice under consulting and internal audit include:
Internal Audit Technical, project & Support audits in oil & gas industry.

Role Requirements

Some of the key responsibilities of this role are:
Identify and evaluate clients risk areas covering all significant processes and provide comprehensive input to the development of a risk-based annual internal audit plan.
Independently manage different client engagements. Plan, organize, direct and execute internal audit operations, including overall quality of deliverables, processes and completion of projects within budgeted timeline.
Ensure a robust control framework to ensure we meet global standards and are compliant with all the control procedures applicable to our business.
Establish and document a framework for the audit function in terms of standard reporting templates along with specifications thereof, audit calendars and such other functional processes and procedures.
Manage assignments for effectively carrying out internal audit and risk management of the various units and subsidiaries of the company with a view to identifying weaknesses and recommending improvement to processes, control systems, procedures etc. besides highlighting non-compliance to various statutory and legal requirements.
Follow up implementation of recommendations for improvement within a mutually agreed time frame with the business/functional heads.
Setting up a risk management framework, including the standards and recommend executive actions, for the company.
Undertake one off specific review assignments on behalf of the management as and when requested.
Develop relevant audit programs & procedures including Risk & Control Matrix (RCM).
Manage performance of audit procedures. This includes identifying and defining issues, developing criteria, reviewing and analyzing evidence, and documenting client processes and procedures. Demonstrate technical competence in related domain.
Communicate the results of assignments through written reports and oral presentations on a timely basis to client management, including presentations to the Audit committees and at Board meetings.
Assist engagement director with identification for any new firm services at existing or new clients. Prepare and track proposals and conduct proposal meetings with clients. Responsible for developing and growing business and managing portfolio of clients.
Developing strong relationships with top executives at prospects (target clients) and existing clients.
Support practice management including work in progress monitoring, proposal development and monitoring of performance against the business plan. Lay down processes for improvement as well as strengthen the practice in the region.
Understand, document, and test the key risks and controls within various businesses and operations.
Bachelors degree in Engineering from a top tier college.
Post Graduate in Finance, Strategy, Operations, Economics, Petroleum industry or equivalent from a top tier college.
Experience of working in leading consulting firms - Internal Audit team is a must.
Minimum 4 years of industry experience in a related field, preferably in internal audit and industry. Good mix of education and experience will be useful.
Experience in oil & gas/ power/utility industry is mandatory especially in more than one of the areas like- exploration & production, E&P service industry, E&P construction industry, refining & marketing, pipelines, gas, LNG, fertilizers, petrochemicals, UCG, CBM, and shale gas like non-conventional gas etc.

Overview
Determines methods and solutions for complex engineering problems and selects the most efficient and economical manner in meeting the objectives. This level of Engineer is a fully qualified professional, proficient in the utilization of current engineering theories and practices. May serve as a technical consultant in his area of expertise for management or the Client.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
•          Develops the scope of engineering work, design criteria, schedules, and budgets for the assigned project elements and monitors progress to meet schedule and budget requirements. Identifies and documents changes in scope.
•          Reviews work produced to ensure that applicable codes, standards, and procedures are followed and that quality is excellent. Monitors productivity and technical proficiency of assigned technical personnel and makes reassignments as project needs arise.
•          Perform structural design and analysis calculations using governing codes and standards, engineering formulas, skills, and experience.
•          Provide drawing for own designs and produce sketches to incorporate in drawings by Designers/Drafters.
•          Ensures Client criteria and scope are met. Expedites distribution of action items following discussions/meetings with the Client and Project Manager.
•          Ensures that structural design work is coordinated with project staff and Engineers from other disciplines by maintaining clear and frequent communications.
•          Conducts surveys, studies and site investigations.
•          May direct and supervise activities of other Structural Engineers and Designers/Drafters.
•          Prepares technical reports, project manuals and documentation of activity for the Client and Project Management.
•          Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Requirements
Qualifications:
•          Degree in Structural Engineering from a recognized University.
•          Chartered or Professional Engineer.
•          Minimum 20 years of structural design experience of large road, highway, bridge projects.
•          Fully conversant and proficient in structural design software including SAP2000, Etabs, Safe, Prokon, Midas Set, Mathcad, Autodesk Structural Bridge Design, STAAD Pro V8i.
•          Commitment to safety and quality standards.
•          Excellent communication and presentation skills.
