Track and Systems Project Director - Rail Project - Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia We have a current vacancy for a Trackwork and Rail Systems Project Director to be responsible for our client's major civil infrastructure project in Malaysia. Due to continued growth and new project wins our client is seeking to increase its project delivery capacity. The project is a 200km double track railway build in Malaysia and our client has the full EPC scope including all the Civil works as well as the Track and Systems package. We are specifically instructed to secure a senior project director to act as number one for this portion of the works. The overall project is valued at close to US$1BN and has only commenced in the last few months. The client themselves are a privately-owned tier one local construction contractor and have projects across Malaysia. Our client requires a leader who is innovative and pragmatic and experienced in managing large projects in different cultural environments.
Requirements
This role would suit a highly experienced professional with a combination of the following attributes; * Degree qualified in Civil Engineering. * Operated as number one delivery responsible on major Trackworks and Systems projects. * Proven track record in large rail or metro projects. * Experience with civil contractors or consultancies is essential. * Expert level of communication skills. * Any experience to Malaysian projects or regional rail projects is highly favoured. * Fluent English speaking. In exchange for your skills and expertise the client is offering a total tax-free package of up to $20k USD per month.
