The role will be a Site based SCADA/ Instrumentation Engineer on a very prestigious project within the region. Responsibilities: Review and recommend approval of shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, requests for changes, and requests for information in their respective discipline. Provide technical advice to the RE and CRE and as appropriate direction to the field inspectors. Provide for minor designs as directed. Provide Support for contractor and client liaison meetings in relation to materials submitted. Responsible for providing comment on requests for contract variation orders under their discipline. Provide additional coverage for field inspections as required by the project. Preparation of the minutes of any special meetings required, where requested. This will include follow-up for completion of critical issues and tasks. Monitoring related data files to check that data entry is current and accurate. This includes Issues Files, Disputed Work, Claims, RFIs and Correspondence. Maintaining a register of any positive or negative variations created due to site level activities or agreements. Maintaining documentation for Contract Closeout including requirements for Controlled Inspections, Occupation or Use Prior to Completion, Substantial Completion, Extensions of Time and Final Reporting and Equipment Tracking Logs. Maintaining a Log of the Contractor’s Non-conformances and their status. Maintaining Issues File Logs. Verifying As-Built information submitted by the Contractors against the As-Built set of Contract Drawings. Review and approval of start-up and commissioning plan. Inspect the work on completion of each contract. Prepare snag lists of omissions and deficiencies. Certify that all testing is documented and was performed with satisfactory results. Assist during start-up and commissioning. Ensure that they and their junior staff comply with the project HASP. Support in the training of more junior staff to improve their skill set and efficiency.

Qualification / Requirements: Have a Bachelors Degree in Instrumentation or Electronics Engineering Have 10 years in increasingly responsible positions, Past experience shall include successfully completing a previous position as Engineer on a Project of related works. The Role
Our client, a leading luxury furniture retail company, is seeking to recruit an Estimator/ Sales Administrator with FF&E background. Main Mission and Purpose: Prepares cost estimates of products or projects and prepares quotations and proposals in order to respond to the clients’ requests and needs, as well as to aid the company in bidding or in supporting senior management in taking the appropriate decisions. Provide recommendations on alternative products and costing options of a product or a project, and provide support to the sales team in costing issues while ensuring efficient sales administration. Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities Cost and price estimation: • Client’s requirements: By interacting with the sales team and clients, he/she understands the client’s requirements and product or project specifications • Analysis of data and information: Analyzes all data and information which can impact the cost and the price, analyzes technical data, designs and preliminary specifications • Interaction with various departments: Consult with the other departments, and with external vendors to discuss and formulate accurate estimates. EDUCATION required: Bachelor degree, ideally with Design or technical drawing background EXPERIENCE required: proven experience, minimum 5 years, in a similar role in FF&E PROFESSIONAL SKILLS: Excellent knowledge of IT tools, mainly Office. Capability to read and analyze interior and technical designs. Solid knowledge of cost analysis and cost management in a product and project environment.
