The Role
As a Transfer Pricing Senior, you'll thoroughly and accurately analyze information, apply economic/financial knowledge to client situations and develop effective approaches to clients' financial circumstances. Subsequently, you'll take a lead in developing recommendations and implementation plans. You'll also develop and deliver transfer pricing and economic ideas through timely and responsive services/work products and identify opportunities for transfer pricing and other special services. In addition, you'll prepare documentation, participate in advance pricing agreements (APAs) and defend transfer pricing in audits. As a senior, you'll also work in the valuation of intangible assets, and develop practical planning services. Managing the work of client service team members and participating in, and contributing to, attaining team goals will also be essential in your role. As an influential member of the team, you'll demonstrate a commitment to quality in all aspects of your work. You'll also help to create a positive learning culture, coaching and counseling junior team members to help them develop. Requirements An undergraduate degree, preferably with an emphasis in economics, finance or law; an advanced degree in economics, law, tax or accounting is desirable At least two years (with a graduate degree) or three years (with an undergraduate degree) of business or economic advisory experience (professional services experience is a plus) An understanding of complex transfer pricing concepts and broad exposure to transfer pricing issues is preferred Strong organizational, analytical and verbal/written communication skills Proficiency in Arabic is highly desirable Chief financial officers and tax directors of multinationals operate in an environment of intense scrutiny and challenge. Ernst & Young's transfer pricing and tax effective supply chain management (TESCM) professionals, help these leaders deal with this challenge. As a member of a multidisciplinary TESCM team, you'll work with multinationals on supply chain design, business restructuring, systems implications, transfer pricing, direct and indirect tax, customs and accounting. As a transfer pricing professional, you'll help clients to review, document, manage and defend their transfer pricing policies and processes and align them with the client's business strategy. We'll help you to develop the skills you need to be a successful advisor in either field.
