recruit a Legal Associate Counsel.
The successful candidate will be responsible for legal and compliance with the company’s policies, procedures and applicable laws for the company and its subsidiaries.

Salary:
AED 20,000 to 26,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Responsibilities & Duties
• As directed by or in the absence of Legal Counsel & Compliance officer, provide sound legal support and advice and take legal action in respect of all general corporate and commercial matters, issues and queries received from various divisions and subsidiaries.
• Review, drafting and negotiation of major contracts and carrying out of contract risk assessments
• Discuss, negotiate, coordinate and follow up on legal issues with external lawyers and provide all requirements to support the execution of legal matters.
• Assist in the development, revision and circulation of company policies and procedures related to the legal and business practices function and assist or take the lead on training sessions/workshops both for employees and third parties in Sharjah and overseas.
• Perform legal research to ensure that the company is in compliance with the most recent rules and regulations of the country.
• Ensure compliance with applicable export control laws including U.S. and E.U. including conducting transactional reviews.
• Provide support in litigious and alternative dispute resolution matters
• Assist the Legal counsel and compliance officer as and when required.
• Any other tasks that may be requested by your line manager from time to time.
To be considered for the role you must have a Law Degree and have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar function.
