• Implement regional strategies and measures in order to meet profit targets per region with a set of cross-departmental KPIs.

• Achieve annual sales and profit targets, including all sub- targets by Region, POS, O&D & Segment (quality and quantity of revenue) together with Regional Senior Manager Trade Sales and the Country Managers.
• Develop commercial strategies and programs designed to maximize revenue from all channels, create and capitalize on new and existing revenue production opportunities.
• Liaise with Divisional Heads to ensure, maintain and enhance high levels of internal communications.
• Regular evaluate performance against objectives in order to increase efficiency and productivity of Sales team in creating and capitalizing on new revenue production opportunities.
• Communicate with various internal stakeholders in order to achieve a cohesive approach to resolving all commercial related issues. The scope of this interaction will be essentially to identify trends, problems and proactively taking them up with field Sales teams, Revenue Management, Pricing, Customer Engagement, Network Planning, Finance, HR, Customer Service, Flight Operations, Commercial Affairs & Inflight Services.
• Guide and supervise revenue optimization strategies.
• Give direction on marketing drives to enhance the corporate image in line with set revenue and budget targets.
Bachelor degree in a related discipline preferably in economics, statistics or analytics with 10 years of relevant experience respectively of which 3years in a managerial role independent heading the business intelligence department. Master Degree in a related discipline will be advantage.

Responsible for the following:
• Deliver profit center target in respective region with a set of cross-departmental KPIs.
• Oversee all sales and marketing related functions for the airline across all traditional trade channels of distribution in the assigned region.
• Develop, implement and oversee the airline’s sales programs to maximize penetration of his-her target segments according to the direction given by commercial steering department.
• Oversee the development of clear revenue acquisition and retention plans by market, segmentation, customer type, and channel of distribution so as to deliver the airline’s total profit target.
• Achieve aggressive but achievable annual profit targets for the region consistent with overall corporate goals and objectives at the airline.
• Monitor profit performance against targets on an ongoing basis and take steps in advance to address potential issues or shortfalls that may arise.
• Use provided tools to track successes with target accounts and to provide a measurable return-on-investment on account activity.
• Ensure that the business pursued by the sales organization is consistent with the strategic marketing focus of the organization.
• Drive change management across the regional sales organization and foster modern commercial sales setup.
• Serve as a senior commercial representative to major corporate and travel agency accounts. Identify customer issues and needs and ensure that the sales organization addresses them expediently.
• Anticipate marketplace movements in volume, mix, yield, or channel emphasis and put in place proactive action plans to address these.
• Contribute to the implementation of the overall commercial strategy consistent with the strategic plan, business plan, sales and marketing plan of the airline as an advisor to the Vice President – Commercial Steering.
• Implement marketing and sales plans in coordination with Commercial Steering and allocate responsibilities for the attainment of marketing goals and services levels in designated countries.
• Monitor performance of marketing goals and services levels, taking remedy if any shortfalls in consultation with Senior Vice President Trade Sales (Global) and Vice President Commercial Steering
• Devise, implement, operate and maintain campaigns and other marketing devices to maximize the uplift.
• Provide strong leadership, mentoring, motivation and change management skills to a team of highly skilled sales professionals, developing high potential individuals for succession or rotation to other areas of the airline.
• Prepare career development program for all staff in liaison with Country Managers. Set performance objectives for all staff and reward the staff according to productivity.
• Evaluate, interview and recommend General sales Agent applicants to the Board through the Chief Commercial Officer and Vice President – Commercial Steering.
• Evaluate the need of General Sales Agents in areas of operation on continues basis.
• Responsible for compliance with all provisions of the local laws applicable and if necessary to meet government agencies-officials and sort out issues of operational importance.
• Adhere to Company ethics and standards at all times.
• Carry out other duties or special projects as assigned by the Senior Vice President Trade Sales and Vice President - Commercial Steering.
Bachelor Degree holder in related discipline preferable in Sales & Marketing with 10 years of relevant experience respectively preferably handling sales in airline industry of which 03 years in a managerial role respectively. Master Degree in a related discipline will be advantage.
