WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR A SAP BYDESIGN SUPPORT SPECIALIST TO JOIN THE THALES PROJECT MANAGEMENT OFFICE TEAM IN RIYADH SAUDI ARABIA

The SAP byDesign Support Specialist will support the deployment of SAP By Design and other business applications throughout the Thales Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities:
- SAP By Design deployment
- Support the deployment of SAP By Design features in response to business needs
- Support new Thales projects in ramp-up phase
- Support & coordinate the key users community
- Train users
- Write manuals and procedures for SAP By Design usage within the Middle-East environment and organization
- Contributes to the development of the SAP By Design community within Thales in other countries
- Contributes to the development of best practices in using SAP By Design

Information Security Management
- Manage Information Security Projects following the Thales Group processes (Chorus/Manage IS Demand)
- Support the business in identification of risks & opportunities linked to IS (improvement of organization, business processes maturity, best practices recommendations...)
- Support the deployment of Thales Group solutions
Skills and Experience:
- Experience with ERP deployment project - preferably on Project Management and Customer Service areas
- Experience in IS Project Management
- Consulting experience welcome
- Project Management methodology and processes (PMP certification or similar preferred)
- Good relationship with community of users, their representatives and the local management
- Capability of synthesis to present the business needs and related solutions
- English mandatory, French would be welcome to interface with Group IS and central functions

WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR A COMPUTER NETWORK ENGINEER TO JOIN THE THALES TEAM IN MANAMA, BAHRAIN.

The Computer Network Engineer will perform all necessary engineering activities to allow the delivery of assigned LAN Systems including integration with related systems, within the program milestones, in conformance with specifications and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
In close coordination with the System Engineering Manager, Project Engineering Manager, the Project Manager and the other team members, he will be responsible for all the activities relevant to the LAN system, ensuring the predefined results on time, within the budget and with the expected level of Quality.

The Lead Engineer will:
• Analyze the Technical Project Scope of Works relevant to the LAN system (scope, technical issues and risk assumptions);
• Conduct and perform design for the LAN system, applying technical guidelines and principles communicated by the System Engineering Manager;
• Ensure production of adequate documentation and design with relevant Bill of Quantities for all needed materials and spare parts;
• Prepare the technical part of the Requests for Quotations for each material/service (including technical onsite activities) to be purchased, in accordance with Company guidelines;
• Produce technical procedures, manuals ( installation procedures, FAT procedure, commissioning procedure ) and define the test instruments to be used on site;
• Establish internal targets in line with contractual technical requirement and Company expectations, as communicated by System Engineering Manager and Project Manager;
• Manage all the activities concerning potential technical Variations of Scope of Work
• Manage and co-ordinate his activities with the other System Engineers involved, to Ensure the integration with OCC and the other subsystems;
• Support Integration Manager in all integration aspects and issues ensuring appropriate co-ordination;
• Place requests through Interface Manager for all required information from other Contractors, and provide answers to the Interface Manager for queries from Customer and/or other Contractors;
• Conduct the Factory Acceptance Tests with the support of QA/QC, after coordination with Logistic Manager;
• Co-ordinate with Logistics after Factory Acceptance Tests for associated shipments;
• Prepare the training program for the Customer;
• Ensure adequate technical support to on site activities (which include also specific missions on site, when necessary, for startup, supervision, commissioning and closer support);
• Participate to Project Meetings (internal and external: with the Customer, subcontractors and other entities) when scheduled and/or requested.
• Proven experience in the design and engineering of LAN / WAN/ VOIP Communication technologies systems in the Airport domain.

The Integration Engineer will be responsible in the integration of all systems at Bahrain International Airport.

Key Responsibilities:

The role reports to the Integration Manager.

The Integration Engineer will be responsible for coordinating with system engineers, external systems suppliers and project Stakeholders (i.e. Airport Operator) to ensure that all systems will be designed, configured and tested in a seamless manner from a technical solution point of view.

The Integration Engineer will have to coordinate also with ORAT contractor for the successfully execution of Basic and Advanced Airport Trials.

WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR A TEST FACILITY ENGINEER TO JOIN THE THALES TEAM IN MANAMA, BAHRAIN.

The Test Facility Engineer will lead the engineering design, implementation and support operation of the Test Platform for all systems at Bahrain Airport.

Key Responsibilities:

The Test platform Engineer produces detailed design of the technical solution being proposed for the systems. He is responsible for generating and maintaining shop drawings and other definition and verification documents as needed for review by the Engineer, and coordinating test activities during the installation of the Bahrain Airport systems.

• Produce Integration Test Strategy
• Produce Integration Test Plan
• Manage the temporary test facility with all necessary amenities such as UPS power, Air Conditioning, meeting space, furniture, IT infrastructure as necessary.
• Coordinate network connectivity & remote access for testing purposes
• Provide a scaled down image of the production network environment with the production configuration of the network core
• Allow for sufficient space for all test lab participants
• Manage the testing activities and facility including
• Detailed activity schedule
• Attendance log, name, signature, time in, time out
• Security management of the facility
• Housekeeping of the facility
• 5 years' experience in implementation of SAS/ELV systems including Network, Server Farm SAN's equipment
• 2 years' experience with testing facility engineering and operation
• 2 years of system testing and verification
• Previous experience with airport systems is required
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English
• Able to work in a construction site environment
• Able to coordinate with external contractors and suppliers
