Dept : Commercial Dept closely related to Supply Chain Management  Responsibilities:  - To handle day to day activities of commercial department and to ensure proper allocation of work to all the team members.  - Responsible for all the international and local logistics activities of the company.   - Co-ordination with stores of local transportations, cranes, trolleys, and labours required for executing the deliveries.  - To take delivery appointments from respective ministries prior to deliveries.  - Co-ordination with shippers, freight forwarders & clearing agents for the inbound shipments.  - To arrange shipments of demo units, demo returns, re-exports for warranty replacements, duty refunds and duty exemptions on us imports  - Responsible for on time deliveries and billing as per the budgeted figures.  1. To keep track of actual vs budget billing on monthly basis.  2. To check, verify and sign invoices before it gets submitted to the customers.  3. To ensure advance payment claims against orders in case of mile stone payment terms.  - To check the purchase indents prepared in the system before it being sent for the approval. To ensure the order processing within norms of lead time.  - To get the marine insurance cover, goods in transit cover and contractor all risk covers to cover the risk on inbound and outbound movement of the goods.  - To lodge insurance claims; conduct surveys and follow-up for claim settlements.  - To prepare monthly and quarterly collection plan in co-ordination with debt collectors and sending it to management.  - To enter the invoice wise feedback received from debt collections into a/r monitoring system. To seek approval for transfer to retention accounts.  - Participating in monthly a/r reviews with Sr. GM and debt collectors.  - Co-ordination for credit issues, extensions, open credit reconciliation, penalty investigations.  - To check forwarder bills, transporter bills before it goes for payments.  - To submit sales commission statements on quarterly basis to accounts department for sgh and international tenders.  - Responses to internal/external customer queries/emails/ phone calls.  - Co-ordination with i.t. for reports to monitor the commercial activities  1. The Role
