The purpose of the Marketing Coordinator role is to support the implementation of the organization Marketing strategy for the region. This role requires a high level of market understanding and a diverse skill set across multiple areas, including social media marketing, event planning, strategic and conceptual thinking, content creation, and relationship management.

Key responsibilities include:
- Make sure Careem is present at all local, relevant events in the city.
- Manage customer activation as well as retention campaigns, from planning to execution and reporting in order to help deliver our main KPI: downloads, sign-ups, churn, daily trips
- Develop content strategies and Social Media initiatives and work closely with the Social Media Agency to assure timely execution on our platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) and monitor customer feedback
- Monitor market trends, conduct competitive analysis and share the gained insights with the team on a regular basis
- Identify and build relationships with Social Media influencers in our space. Match our internal content creation with external influencers who would enjoy becoming Careem ambassadors
- Deliver a great experience to our many partners and manage these relationships to ensure result-oriented outcomes as well as positive brand affiliation
- Attend relevant events to evangelize the company's mission and find like­ minded individuals and companies to align with on future initiatives
- Assist with event planning, execution and reporting and cooperate with vendors, event coordinators, and design teams for on­site collateral

- Ability to get hands-on in a complex operational environment
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to tight deadlines
- Experience in event planning and management and working with design and production agencies
- Ability to think about process and scale above all else to work -efficiently and effectively with multiple partners
- Confident, outgoing, and with a predisposition to teach others
- Good technical proficiency, literacy skills and a competent computer user
- Experience working within the technology industry/start-up environment is highly desirable
- Educated to BS/MS level (or equivalent) within a subject relevant to the position such as Marketing

Data Science Engineer / Data Scientist (B)

ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Answer complex analytic questions from big data sets to help Careem shape its products and services in a better way.
- Implement strong data pipe lines for Machine Learning algorithms that will be used in production
- Design Real time / Streaming jobs for analytics / production purposes
- Implement large scale machine learning algorithm
- D esign, implement and support ETLs /ELTs to process terabytes of data each week.
- B uild data-driven services and solutions that empowers Careem different products either by working directly on them or by improving our large scale data infrastructure.
- Transform raw data from different sources and using different big data tools into meaningful insights
- You will always challenge the status quo and continually investigate new data processing technologies and seek to ensure that we follow the industry best practice s.
- Experience with distributed analytic processing technologies (Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Presto, Redshift , etc )
- You have strong software development skills in one or more programming languages (Java, Scala, python, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to swiftly trouble-shoot
- Ability to write well-abstracted, reusable and clean code components
- You have some working knowledge of ETL and data warehousing concepts
- You have a high degree of comfort in leveraging SQL to manipulate data
- You have exceptional communication skills and can manage multiple tasks and work to tight deadlines
- Experience in implementing scalable machine learning data pipelines is a plus.
- Experience with AWS is desirable.

We are looking for a Head of Reward to join an established HR team and help continue the development of the reward structure. The organisation employs 2,000 people across 11 countries. In the midst of a significant change program, you will lead the reward strategyand fundamental projects around grading and other high profile reward issues affecting the MENA region.

Key responsibilities include
- Review current policies and practices and implement improvements
- Oversee equal pay audits
- Complete annual pay remit process
- Work within and demonstrate a thorough understanding of employment law specifically related to pay and benefits
- Work alongside key business stakeholders
- Develop excellent working relationships with the senior management team
- Benchmark market data to develop strategy

As a Digital Marketing Manager, you should have a strong grasp of current marketing tools and strategies and be able to lead our supply side of digital marketing campaigns from concept to execution. Digital marketing managers will work with the marketing team, supporting teams (such as programmers), engineers and product to launch campaigns on time and in budget.

- Plan and execute all web, SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns on supply side
- Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
- Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
- Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
- Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests
- Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience
- Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
- Instrument conversion points and optimize user funnels
- Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners
- Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate
