Executive Secretary to General Manager

Our client is looking to hire a well-presented, corporate Executive Secretary to join a 5 star luxury hotel in the heart of Qatar.

As the Executive Secretary you will be responsible for assisting the General Manager and two other Senior Managers in all office administrative and executives secretarial functions from diary, email and travel management, drafting letters and correspondence, handling all incoming and outgoing phone calls and correspondence, monthly expense statements, file documentation management and assisting with events as and when required.
The successful candidate should have a minimum of 5 years' experience working in a 5 star luxury hotel. You should be able to work under pressure, multi-task, be an innovative thinker and have a professional and enthusiastic demeanour liaising with all internal and external stakeholders. You should also have a polite and welcoming attitude who works well independently and can keep up with the daily demands of supporting three senior executives.

Recruitment Manager

You will be responsible for designing the training recruitment for HR recruiters and line managers, act as the single point of contact for all recruitment needs for the business as well as monitor labour laws and implement the changes for compliance. You will also develop and monitor the recruitment budget, the delivery of recruitment operations results against agreed operational SLA's and KPI's and keep abreast of market best practices. The successful candidate should have previously worked within the IT/software industry and have at least 8 years experience in a similar role. Our client is a well-established and respected international law firm who is looking for a well-seasoned Corporate Commercial Bilingual Paralegal (Arabic/English) to provide exceptionally high level of support to the Partners, Associates and Senior Associates in their Qatar office.

The successful candidate should have a law Degree or be a qualified corporate paralegal with at least 3 years experience as a corporate paralegal within an international firm. You should be well organised, have excellent communication skills, high attention to detail, fluent in drafting and translating corporate commercial contracts Arabic to English and vice versa as well as be able to work to tight deadlines and under pressure. As part of the team you will report to the Office Manager and work alongside Senior Partners and Fee Earners assisting with diary and email management, presentations, and administration. You will also aid with coordination of new client documentation, monthly billing, meeting management as well as typing of letters and legal documents.
The successful candidate should have a secretarial or business studies qualification with experience working in an international environment. You should have a solid secretarial CV with a minimum of 5 years previous experience working in a similar role and excellent knowledge of the legal industry. You should also have superior communication, organisational and interpersonal skills along with the capacity to function independently and within a very professional and corporate team. Head Maintenance Manager

Charterhouse is working with a joint venture business who is looking to hire a Head Maintenance Manager responsible for 2 plants in Qatar. You will plan all maintenance activities and procedures including that of all electrical and mechanical equipment to achieve operational targets.

You will be responsible reviewing and evaluating all new projects and continuous improvement achievements. You will assist with the operational strategy by delivering input regarding maintenance and services as well as develop the business plan for the maintenance teams. You will also set up the planned maintenance schedules, modify them when required to achieve better results on reactive issues and update the CMMS with all changes to give clarity to the maintenance schedules. In addition, you will manage staff directly and indirectly from KPI's and reports and assist with the development of staff through training and motivation.
The successful candidate should be Degree educated in a relevant engineering discipline with minimum 10 years experience in technical operational management roles. You should also have previously worked on a power plant or in the oil & gas industry for an owner/investor/developer company. In addition, you should have working knowledge of rotating equipment i.e. compressors, pumps & motors and understanding of preventative and reactive maintenance techniques.
