MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:
The Sales Manager will have overall sales responsibility is responsible for selling to and educating customers about Rapid Access’ product portfolio, facilities and services.
Reporting into the Regional Director, the Sales Manager will have overall sales responsibility for themselves and the wider sales team in an assigned region.
The Sales Manager will be given a defined customer portfolio within an assigned territory. They will be tasked with its growth and with maximising revenue against agreed targets by proactively targeting sales opportunities and converting leads into confirmed orders.
In addition, the role holder is expected to supervise the activity and performance of the sales team members.
This is predominantly field-based sales role which requires travel throughout the assigned region and so will
require someone who is happy to cover their territory on a daily basis and will be proactive in seeking out new opportunities within the industry.
It is envisaged that this role will develop into that of a Depot Manager with both operational and sales management duties after completion of an agreed period.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Development of the Sales Strategy:
Provide strategic planning input into the business development plan to identify opportunities for new market and customer penetration. Identify realisable revenue streams in each sector and forecast anticipated profit margins
Prepare comprehensive market and competitive analysis of the potential appetite for our suite of products in the assigned region
Actively research, identify, develop and track project opportunities in defined target market sectors
Develop innovative business development propositions through effective collaboration with the marketing and engineering teams
Implementation of the Sales Strategy:
Achieve agreed retention, growth and profitability goals including:
- increased revenue growth
- account management of the existing customer base
- re-development of dormant accounts to agreed percentage
- retention of existing active customer base within agreed percentage
- new business development to agreed percentage
Perform proactive prospecting activities such as market research, networking, lead generation and direct targeting of both existing and new customers
Conducting regular customer sales visits. Collect information on customer needs and projects and translate them into project proposals and quotes with the goal of securing or retaining business
Negotiate contract information and pricing structures with new and existing clients
Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline towards targeted sectors to continuously grow the business and generate sales
Utilise marketing initiatives in line with the sales plan to increase the awareness of Rapid Access. Recommend and implement sales promotional programs to promote sales growth
Work with the wider Rapid Access team e.g. Engineering, Marketing and Health & Safety to prepare sales presentations. Educate team participants in customer culture, operational needs and sales techniques needed to close the sale
Maintain high visibility within the customer organisation. Monitor customer satisfaction by regular communication with customers
Reporting & Information Systems:
Update the management team on topics such as industry trends, sales activity, competitor activity, lost jobs, revenue and utilisation
Provide constant analysis of sales region capabilities, potential and threats
Ensure the CRM system is routinely updated with information such as customer visits, quotes, forecasts
Sales Support Activities:
Preparing and coordinating customer proposals and quotations
Attending company stands at exhibitions, trade shows and conferences when required
Provide support to cash collection activities
Assist the Hire Desk Control team with customer queries
People Management:
Liaise closely with the Regional Director to ensure the sales team’s targets are met
Assist the sales team in the selling of the Rapid Access suite of products
Serve in a supervisory capacity to the junior members of the sales team. Identify development opportunities and provide input into their training efforts
Ensure sales reporting process is followed by the field sales team

Senior Credit
Control Manager

The Credit Control
Manager will have overall responsibility for managing the entire credit control
function in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
Reporting into the Regional Director, the primary objective of the Credit Manager is to maximise business profit and cash flow through the through the management of credit risk and timely collection of cash across a diverse customer portfolio.
Key duties will include the continuous focus on the reduction and control of overdue receivables, payment terms and Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) whilst improving collection efficiency and processes.
The Credit Control Manager will also work alongside the Regional Credit Manager to implement the Rapid Access credit policy and collection strategies. In doing so the Credit Control Manager will provide internal stakeholders with clear and consistent insights into the successes and challenges associated with credit control.
This is a key, hands-on people management position which requires regular travel throughout the Kingdom.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Credit Control:
• Operate within the guidelines and requirements of the credit policy. Enforce credit policy compliance and completeness of all transactions from the credit control team
• Recommend and participate in the development, implementation and clarification of the credit control policy. Provide support for any proposed changes identified
• Analyse and authorise credit applications decisions to determine terms of sale, credit limits and risk levels
• Prepare and review the credit limit trends report to identify potential need for credit line increases. Annually review to re-establish lines of credit and terms of order
• Maintain an acceptable level of credit risk management as dictated by the credit policy. Manage Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and Delinquent Days Sales Outstanding (DDSO) to improve cash flow
• Review customer accounts on a regular basis to ensure continued compliance with the credit policy
Cash Collection:
• Effectively work with the KSA General Managers and to improve their cash flow through the timely payment of all customer invoices in each of their regions.
• Supervise the daily collection activity of the credit control team. Provide guidance that will enhance their collection techniques and problem resolution ability
• Monitor and control unallocated cash, debtor days, credit limits, order releases, cash process and allocation
• Take a lead role in the escalation of credit control and collection issues from the KSA credit control team
• Actively chase aged debt and take the lead in reviewing the more complex and difficult customer accounts
• Review blocked or temporary service suspension order recommendations from the credit control team. Evaluate whether orders should be released or held. Advise the sales team and customers on blocked order resolutions and implement strategies to prevent future occurrences
• Meet with customers as needed to maintain strong business relationships, minimise credit risk and collect cash in the most complex of cases
• Initiate and manage the legal process for the recovery of debt
Reporting and Reconciliations:
• Produce monthly debtor analysis reports for the Regional Credit Manager, General Managers and the wider senior management team. Report on agreed timescale each month for overdue debts, action steps to resolve unpaid invoices and debt recovery actions plans
• Collate and analyse collection data. Report to management on action steps in progress to resolve unpaid invoice issues and steps underway to drive late paying customers to terms adherence
• Utilise reporting to identify best practice and improvement trends. Share knowledge and get buy-in on individual customer and business issues with the senior management team
• Review weekly past due reports to coach and provide guidance to the KSA credit control team
• Responsible for the monthly close-down of the sales ledger and system reconciliations to the general ledger
• Produce weekly collection forecast based on follow up with credit team members across the kingdom. Report deviation analysis against forecasts with justifications and action plans
Risk Analysis:
• Monitor industry, customer and general market conditions for changes that might impact the customer portfolio credit terms and current receivable value. Identify early risk or exposure, volatile industries and markets within the kingdom
• Assist and support the Regional Credit Manager in the continued development and roll out of credit risk management techniques
• Proactively build and strengthen relationships with customers, sales managers and legal experts to improve the depth and timeliness of risk analysis information
People Management
• Lead and develop a high performing credit control team. Improve team performance through the development of skills, systems and process revision by conducting effective and regular one-to-ones with all team members
• Motivate the credit control team to meet their cash collection targets. Review performance against those targets
• Ensure the credit control’s team compliance with the credit policy and best practices
• Assist in the hiring, training, and terminating of any credit control employees

The Credit Officer will be managing and organising the collections as well helping to resolve any disputes according to the Rapid Access credit control policy.
Reporting into the Credit Control Manager, the Credit Officer will be part of a team responsible for credit and collection across the assigned geographical region. They will ensure the timely collection of receivables from invoice submission when the first bills become due to payment.
The Credit Officer will be responsible for the timely collection of accounts receivable including analysing delinquent account balances and determining the appropriate plan of action to successfully resolve overdue customer debt and minimise outstanding receivables
KEY DUTIES:

- Minimise credit exposure by faster and effective recoveries of overdue balances prior to legal stage
Credit Operations
- Act as a point of contact and management on an assigned portfolio of long-overdue and complex debt customers accounts

- Work with the Head of Legal Recoveries to review debtor accounts and determine the appropriate enforcement options based upon the case circumstances. Initiating legal actions for debt recovery if necessary
- Liaise with third party debt recovery agencies and legal agencies. Monitor legal agencies performance and diary notes and pursue updates on actions
- Issue legal proceedings against companies and individual debtors
- Follow up on the progress of legal cases
Reporting
- Weekly reporting to Regional Head of Legal Department on all portfolio accounts.
- Monthly/Weekly cash collections forecasts
- Assist the Debt Recovery Paralegal to produce month end debtors’ information
- Monitor enforcement activities and update “Rep Portal” daily to ensure all activities/meeting and customer negotiations are up to date.
- Executing company’s credit policy within their area of responsibility and ensure credit policies are adhered to

- Contribute to the preparation of debtor files including creating a chronology of facts, preparing and submitting dunning (warning) letters, written claims, recording customer responses, preparing memos and proposed course of legal action
- Work with the Head of Legal Recoveries to review debtor accounts and determine the appropriate enforcement options based upon the case circumstances. Initiating legal actions for debt recovery if necessary
- Liaise with third party debt recovery agencies and legal agencies. Monitor legal agencies performance and diary notes and pursue updates on actions
- Issue legal proceedings against companies and individual debtors
- Follow up on the progress of legal cases
Reporting
- Weekly reporting to Regional Head of Legal Department on all portfolio accounts.
- Monthly/Weekly cash collections forecasts
- Assist the Debt Recovery Paralegal to produce month end debtors’ information
- Monitor enforcement activities and update “Rep Portal” daily to ensure all activities/meeting and customer negotiations are up to date.
- Strong track record in a senior credit control
position handling complex debt recovery cases
- Strong knowledge and experience of legal credit control processes
- Computer literate and confident in working with Microsoft Excel and Word
- Good written and spoken Arabic & English
- Driving licence
