The Role
Directing, managing, and monitoring the legal activities, making legal decisions regarding advice and counsel received on a broad range of legal and strategic issues critical to realizing strategic goals, ensuring that legal position is effectively represented in courts of law, safeguarding legal position in relation to third parties, and ensuring legal compliance of activities. Key Responsibilities / Duties: •Provide quality legal advice at the highest level on all legal matters associated with current operations, covering both regional and international legal matters. •Ensuring that the legal documents and other contractual documents are effectively drafted, reviewed, interpreted, and vetted, e.g. hospital JV partnership agreement. •Representing the firm in ensuring the efficient handling and winning resolution of all contract negotiations and disputes. •Provide regular updates to Support Services Head and CEO on legal activities. •Procure and oversee external legal support as and when needed. •Develop and maintain the Legal Framework and Legal Compliance Protocol. •To oversee and manage all legal claims and settlement agreements with clients, vendors and contractors. •Oversee the creation and maintenance of legal entities created for business or transactional purposes. •Provide research, factual information, counsel and guidance and transactional legal issues to all departments and assets. •Manage the legal structuring and execution of transactions autonomously and develop and implement transactional legal standards to ensure a comprehensive approach to transactions.
Requirements
•Masters degree in law •At least 5 years previous experience of working within a legal environment in Kuwait, preferably in an investment/ finance company Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities •Knowledge of the legal authorities in Kuwait. •Knowledge of legal terminology and ability to analyze legal documents. •Arabic / English Fluent.

Agent - Customer Service (OMAN AVIATION HANDLING COMPANY) *For Omani only* Operations Meet and Assist - Carry out meet and assist functions as detailed in working guidelines Check In - Familiarize with airline procedures and go thru the PNL for self-briefing of the flight status and special requirement such as seating, incapacitated passengers, UM etc. subsequently check-in passengers according to their travel destination and the airlines as per their travel itinerary ensuring valid travel to their destination. - Check validity of the ticket and flight date-class-status - Check visa for destination and comply with checks of local resident card rule as applicable - Check to ensure if the Checked-In baggage is under recommended level of weight and take necessary action steps if overweight. Comply with minimum weight per bag restriction and advise the passenger for required action. - Issue excess baggage ticket when the totals exceed the allowed limit as stipulated by the Airline. Communicate to the passenger and direct him to the cashier for payment of excess baggage and obtaining boarding card. - Tag the bags to the final destination and advise the passenger of the details. - For passengers travelling with live animals, check for clearance certificate, VET certificate along with cage- and ensure if Airline regulation permits acceptance - For all unaccompanied minors, pregnant ladies, incapacitated passengers check if proper certificates are available and valid prior to acceptance - Ensure passenger seating is carried out according to the requests and as per guidelines of the airline for special category passenger seating - Enter all details in the system which then goes to Load control section to prepare the load sheet - Communicate to the passenger of and discrepancy of travel document-non availability of request seat and reason-booking status discrepancy and direct him to contact the airline personal -ticket counter when applicable - Enter details such as APIS entry when they are entered while at booking - Advise the passenger of the flight number-boarding gate-time while handing back the ticket and boarding card in preparation for his departure. VIP Handling - Collect VIP notification form from the supervisor and cross check with protocol in order to update information of additional and cancellation and inform Supervisor - Duty officer of such data and assist in ensuring VIP requirements are pre-assigned by passenger controllers.
