Legal Secretary (Arabic Speaking)

As a Legal Secretary you will be responsible for high level secretarial support to an allocated group of fee earners. You will need to have excellent technical capability to ensure that you produce and amend documents with speed and accuracy. In addition, you will also manage the diaries of the fee earners and make any travel arrangements as requested. Other ad hoc duties such as processing expense claims will also be involved with this role.
The successful candidate should be western educated, have a minimum typing speed of 45 words per minute and be immaculately presented. You should come from a corporate background or have at least 5 years experience in a similar environment. It is essential you have advanced IT skills with packages such as Word and Excel.

Technical:
- Competent knowledge of CAD drawings and blueprints;
- IT literate with strong command of MS Excel and MS Word;
- Possess at least 2-3 years of experience in the construction field with some experience of working in the UAE;

Operations Manager

Charterhouse is working with an International EPC on an Oil and Gas facility in Oman. Our client is looking to hire an Operations Manager who will report to the Country Manager and be entirely responsible for site operations, maintenance and logistics.

You will follow the annual strategy, plant goals, operating procedures and QHSE systems as well as set and review activity reports and KPIs to measure the performance and achievements to determine action plans on cost and improvements. You will also develop and implement continuous improvements in the plant to reduce costs and maintain quality as well as develop staff via competency and training programs. In addition, you will perform audits as per the QSHE requirements and manage all types of emergencies as per company policy.
The successful candidate should have a relevant engineering Degree along with experience leading an operational O&G Plant. You should also have previously managed a diverse cultural team, be able to meet tight deadlines and have a proven track record of delivering improvement projects. In addition, you should have excellent English verbal and written communication skills along with strong problem solving, leadership and interpersonal skills.
