Urgently required for Oil & Gas industry Sector in Abu Dhabi Position:
DERRICKMAN
Minimum Requirements:-
Works on the derrick to pull and run in the drill string.(Drilling collar changes, operating elevators and rack section of drill pipes. Casing, Tuning, liaising closely with drillers and assistant driller).
Attends mud systems on rigs and checks mud properties on continuous basis.(Checking of mud weights, Viscosity measurements , Filtration, P.H and salinity test, notes findings of deviation from established specification)
Mixes chemicals with mud or brine and transfers to and from various tanks and filters. (Adding measured amounts of additives to mud, mixing in tank and transferring to holding tank/well, informs supervisor for anomalies)
Ensures the cleanliness and safe operation of equipment and work area.
Directs and participates in flanging up blow out preventers, wellhead equipment and test equipment to secure the well bore as requested by using hand tools.
Inspects the draw works, derrick mast, crown block, and travelling and reports faulty equipment and damage structure
Assist service companys personnel in conducting their tests and participates in running casing ,cementing and wire-line operations
Assists in the rig move preparations and setting up of drill floor, cantilever and main deck by lashing movable securely, disconnecting and securing lines and re positioning equipment to avoid hazard or damage to the rig.
Observes and applies established safety regulations in all respects
Carries out other similar or related duties.
Education: High school and above. Physical fitness: good health and strong physique.
Experience: must have 4 years experience in drilling operations and HSE awareness. And obtained training courses on drilling operations (12 months equivalent).
Language:
able to understand and communicate in English. Knowledge of Arabic is ad advantage.

The Role
Manager Occupational Health - Qatar Airways - Doha Support the VP Occupational Health Services in establishing an Occupational Health Service to support the entire QR Group to include HIA Staff. Responsible for service delivery as directed by the VP. Provide tactical support to the business and employees alike to ensure staff are and remain fit for their roles and that risks to staff from job related health hazards are appropriately controlled. Develop training programs and deliver training to internal and external stakeholders as well as direct and support the Department’s Occupational Health Advisors. * Oversee the implementation and usage of the Occupational Health Service. * Develop and lead the implementation and promotion of Occupational Health culture across the company through the provision and application of Occupational Health policies and procedures, including risk assessment, case management, accident prevention and health initiatives. * Advise on matters relating to Occupational Health at work, including the legal obligations and responsibilities of managers and employees. * Work at the direction of VP Occupational Health to ensure the Occupational Health Service employs best practice even in areas where regulatory standards are unavailable. * Help deliver the Occupational Health Service to all Company grades as seen appropriate. * Work closely with the QR Medical Commission to ensure cost effective and appropriate pre-employment health screening is performed on all staff. * Manage the Department’s own risk register and protection of all medical staff from the hazards associated with their roles. * Have medical management responsibility for cases where work may have impacted on health or where health may impact on the future ability of staff to continue working. * Act as a critical point of contact with the Company’s Occupational Health & Safety Team. * Manage and support the Occupational Health Services being delivered to the business. * Advise senior managers on division wide strategic measures to reduce risks from workplace hazards and on suitable control measures such as shift patterns to reduce fatigue. * Provide specialist consultative medical advice to staff in long standing complex medical cases that are proving resistant to usual measures, and providing leadership and clinical direction for the occupational health specialists. * Advise management on matters related to Occupational Health and raise awareness for occupational health-related medical issues within the business. * Act as a subject matter expert on matters of health educational and wellbeing programs for the Group such as the adverse effects of fatigue on health and the impact this has on productivity.
Requirements
The successful for that role you should have Bachelors degree or Equivalent, in addition to a recognised Post Graduate Nursing qualification in Occupational Medicine. You must be an expert with minimum of 7 years of job related experience. You must have worked in a Commercial or Industrial/Military Occupational Health Department. Previous experience in the Aviation Setting is a plus. Previous management experience of Occupational Health Department with teaching/training experience. Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow. Strong mentoring and coaching skills. Ability to train and develop subordinate's skills. Ability to foster teamwork among team members.

Senior Site Engineer - Mechanical

The Role
The Senior Site Engineer Mechanical is a key member of the supervision services team. He acts as the main technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors, contractors and site team. The jobholder monitors site progress and makes sure that the work carried is as per K&A specification and QC procedures. He processes daily site information, such as Submittals, RFI's and Shop drawings. The jobholder shall stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in the construction supervision space and adopt best practices, where applicable. - Ensure responsibilities are fulfilled with a high quality and in a cost-effective manner - Support Project Managers with managing client relations and expectations, as needed - Support Project Managers with responding to client clarifications on technical and contractual issues, as needed - Support Project Managers with organizing inspections by third parties, as needed - Ensure client satisfaction with construction supervision services - Follow up with the Contractor to receive all contract documents prior to construction commencement. - Review the documents with the Contractor and forward any RFI (Request for Information) to the Associate Project Manager. - Attend internal and external project kick-off meetings as requested by the Associate Project Manager with clients and contractors to plan commencement of works - Prepare the breakdown of all items on the BOQ, taking into consideration materials cost, labor cost, testing commissioning, overhead and profit - Follow up with the Contractor for copies of all documents that have been approved by the authorities - Review material submittals and verify that they are abiding by K&A standards, specifications and local rules, codes and regulations - Review all shop drawings submitted by the contractor and ensure that all details are included. Forward approval to Contractor - Conduct a site inspection to ensure that the works are carried out as per the approved shop drawings and K&A standards - Prepare regular progress reports for review by the Associate Project Manager. - Supervise the filing and archiving of supervision files - Support the Associate Project Manager in attending to correspondence letters - Assist the Associate Project Manager in reviewing monthly contractors’ payments and forward to Senior Project Site Engineer for approval. - Implement corporate policies and procedures - Attend periodic training to further develop relevant skills - Upload relevant deliverable, such as drawings, specifications, price lists, etc., into the K&A knowledge repository as per corporate policies and procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering - Chartered Professional Engineering certification or equivalent is preferred - MME Registered Engineer – Grade A - Knowledge of construction supervision services - Understanding of international engineering standards and codes - Good interpersonal and leadership skills - Strong communication skills - Good planning and organization skills - Strong attention to details - Strong time management skills - Proficiency in spoken and written Arabic and English Experience Required to Execute this Role - 15+ years of experience in a construction / construction supervision function Demonstrated experience with developing and maintaining relationships with clients - At least 5+ years of experience in an engineering function in a consulting company or a construction supervision function - Experience within the Middle East
