The role and responsibilities of the Project Controls Manager will be:
*To manage the project control resources required to deliver a multiple million pound cross functional engineering project
*To support the project manager with progress reporting including scheduling updates, forecast to complete, variance identification and opportunities for improvement.
*Have 15 + years' industry experience
*5 + years' experience in a similar role
*Be degree qualified
*Certified Project Management Associate
*Have exceptional communication skills
*Have experience working on NEC 3 projects

Ideally the candidate will:
*Have worked on hospital projects previously
*Be in Saudi Arabia, immediately available with a transferable IQAMA

Structural/Tunnelling Engineer - Multiple Infrastructure Projects - Qatar

Structural/Tunnelling Engineer to be based in Qatar working on multiple Infrastructure Projects

An experienced Structural/Tunnelling Engineer is required to work on Numerous Major Infrastructure Projects in Qatar.

The Package is approximately NEGOTIABLE.

Duties & Responsibilities Include:
* Overseeing quality control on site
* Coordination of work undertaken by contractor ensuring compliance and supporting technically where required
* Review of method statement for permanent and temporary works ensuring compliance with project requirements and checking against design drawings
* Carrying out assessments and resolving technical issues on site
* Will work on estimates and proposals
* Providing input to project teams and leading by example
* Attending client meetings and building relationships with clients and other stakeholders
* Visits to site as required by the project
* Writing technical progress reports
* Chartered Engineer or a member of any professional organization.
* Master's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering or Tunnelling / Underground Space.
* 10 years of experience working in detailed design (concrete)
* 5 years in underground structures or C&C (cut and cover) tunnels or metro stations
* On site and in the design office experience
* Experience working on tunnel projects or similar structures
* Strong familiarity with Quality Assurance measures
* Understanding of CDM Regulations, specifically the designers requirements
* Understanding of the requirements regarding the risk assessment process

* Attend pre-contract and design, pre-start and on-site progress meetings
* Estimate costs and control all variations to contracts to ensure cost recovery
* Procurement of materials and all sub-contract works, ensure the scope of works are clear
* Negotiate prices and prepare sub-contract works
* Ensure sub-contractors meet selection criteria
* Liaise with site management, accounts and other members of the project team to obtain information and keep interested parties informed
