We are currently engaged on a search assignment for a major construction contractor in Australia who are searching for a BIM lead to work out of their growing Melbourne Office. This role is a permanent position offering a long-term career path within the grown market in Australia.
Our client has recently been awarded several large value and high profile projects across the country and are looking to strengthen their design teams with a recruit to lead BIM.
The key responsibilities include but are not limited to;
* Define Digital Engineering (DE) strategy and set up corresponding DE/BIM management and execution plans on tenders and projects
* Set up or support set up of actual DE/BIM environment and configuration on tenders and projects
* Monitor and support bid and project teams in the implementation of DE/BIM, conducting audits from time to time and providing guidance and troubleshooting as required
* In coordination with HQ, develop then implement strategic DE/BIM roadmap - including DE/BIM standards, templates, documentation, software, internal communication and training
* Contribute to relevant industry initiatives and promote the company externally in the field of DE and BIM

We are looking for candidates with 5-10 years of
experience within a BIM role with a construction contractor who is competent in
12D for major infrastructure or build projects. It is essential that you have
experience of BIM standards in countries such as Australia, UK, New Zealand and
Singapore.
Client will pay a good salary for Melbourne as well as provide all the support required to get you a working visa and assist with relocation.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the commercial approach to key areas of risk and opportunity
- Commercial reviews of contract documents, identifying key obligations and risks.
- Assist with written bid/proposal submissions for commercial and legal responses
- Lead dialogue and presentations with prospective clients
- Contractual review and letter writing
This is an immediate requirement.
