The Role 
Contract Administrator – Brisbane, Australia Top Tier General Contracting Firm Excellent Salary Package   Our client, a leading Tier 2 general contracting firm, with mega project scope seeks to appoint a Contract Administrator to join their firm in Brisbane (Central) to administer large commercial construction projects valued up to $80M. Our client’s firm has a strong pipeline of commercial high rise mixed use projects and they now seek to recruit a Contract Administrator who can work from pre-and post contract administration and who is also interested in project management delivery also. This role would suit a Contract Administrator who wishes to move in to a Project Manager position.  Reporting to the General Manager, this role is responsible for the following: • Pre-and post-contract duties including cost estimates, procurement, contract administration, variations, final account, etc. • Project management, under guidance of Project Director, on major commercial projects. • Assist in liaising with clients and suppliers to ensure information; costs, profitability and value meet the requirements of the project. • Assist in producing breakdowns and undertake value engineering process to meet client budgetary requirements • Preparation and processing of quotations, take-offs, bids and tenders within client deadlines. • Assist in preparing cost, value and reconciliation monthly reports on each assigned project. • Attend internal hand-over meetings and site meetings. • Allocating work to subcontractors and suppliers. • Providing advice on contractual claims. • Analyzing outcomes and writing detailed progress reports. • Valuing completed work and arranging payments. • Comply with the Company’s Quality Assurance and Health and Safety requirements and best practice. 
Requirements 
• Degree in Construction, Engineering, Quantity Surveying or comparable. • A minimum of 8 years’ experience in contract administration / quantity surveying ideally within a Tier 1 contracting firm on large commercial projects. • Candidates who are also seeking project management experience are encouraged to apply also. • A diversity in project experience would also be highly regarded. • The excellent negotiator we seek will be commercially astute with a strong attention to detail.  An excellent salary package, with stable employment and exceptional projects, will be offered to attract suitable candidates to this role.

The Role 
Fantastic opportunity within a fast paced up and coming Consultancy in Miami for a Forensic Mechanical Building Services Design Engineer to work on a variety of iconic projects throughout the Miami area, including retrofit.   This position would suit an individual who is passionate about mechanical building services design (HVAC), who has a proven background in forensic engineering and peer design review.   Mechanical Engineer Responsibilities  * Design of air distribution systems * Design of hydronic systems * Specification writing * Scheduling and selecting major equipment * Mechanical/HVAC system controls - design and specification * Cooling/heating load calculations * Energy calculations * Construction administration * Assist with Project Management * Attend client meetings  JOB REQUIREMENTS  * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/HVAC Engineering. * Experience designing mechanical/electrical systems for the built environment from the design phase through the final construction close-out. * Experience designing Mechanical/HVAC control systems for a broad range of commercial systems. * Working knowledge of building and energy codes. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on the ability to organise and present design information to clients. * P.E License is required for Senior Position (a plus for Junior position).

Tunnel Engineer (TBM) - Iconic Project - Central London  We are working with a major tier 1 contractor currently working in central London on the initial stages of a multi-million GBP infrastructure project.  They are now looking to bring on board a specialist to be an integral part of the project team.  The role will initially be based in the office assisting with the preparation for the project with method statements and plans on how the TBM tunnel works will be carried out. Following this you will see all tunnel works through to completion.
