We are now seeking an exceptional Sustainability Associate - Energy to join our award winning team based within our Doha Office.

This critical role will be responsible for sustainability compliance and energy modeling activities, researching scientific materials for application in built environment design and participating in sustainable development project management tasks with a focus on energy modeling.

Paramount to success within this varied role will include but not limited to;
• Conducting full building/project energy efficiency analysis, recommending energy conservation measures, and demonstrating international energy standards compliance using dynamic simulation modeling software.
• Conducting dynamic simulation models to comply with LEED and Estidama.
• Undertaking thermal and daylighting simulations.
• Preparing sustainability reports on energy, water for Estidama templates, GSAS and LEED templates, Al Saf'at documentation and any other relevant rating to the KEO Sustainability business.
• Conducting design review for sustainability as related to energy and water use in design as well as energy audits.
• Providing expertise in detailed mechanical systems analysis for HVAC, 3D dynamic thermal modeling using the latest simulation programs, airflow analysis, systems peak load reduction, CFD, solar control, thermal comfort, daylighting and glare analysis.
To be successful in this role we envision that you will bring a minimum of 2 - 5 years' career experience, partnered with either a Bachelor of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with demonstrable energy modeling experience.

Preferential consideration will also be given to candidates whom possess a Master Degree qualification (MEng or MSc), are a Chartered Engineer (CEng) / Professional Engineer (PE) and have LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP), Estidama Pearl Qualified Professional (PQP) and / or GSAS Certified Green Professional (CGP) certification.

Experience with IES VE, Sefaira and Hap software applications will be viewed favorably.

• Assisting in the review and approval of the contractor’s QA/QC system and procedures.
• Monitoring compliance of the contractor’s quality on site.
• Providing regular written reports and support to the QA/QC Manager.
• Contributing to and facilitating best practice QA/QC procedures and developing monitoring programs for inspection, testing, sampling and training.
• Assisting and supporting contract administration, quality control and the development/improvement of quality assurance policies and procedures.
• Assisting in the initiation of appropriate QA support, materials and processes for the construction team.
• Assisting with regular audits/surveillance to ensure proper compliance with procedures.

• Participating in construction quality control.

• Tracking and review the site testing and certificates of compliance.

• Ensuring inspections and checking of all delivered materials to site for conformance to the project requirements and approval.

This critical role will be responsible for undertaking inspections on site in accordance with the material related Inspection and Test Plans (ITP's).

Paramount to success within this varied role will include;
• Attending to Inspection Requests (IR's) submitted by the contractor and take appropriate action in a timely manner.
• Review submitted shop drawings against contract drawings and specifications, local codes and statutory requirements and international best practice.
• Report any works carried out by contractor found to not be in accordance with approved drawing and specifications and report to stakeholders for appropriate action.
• Monitor quality of works and assess the safety at site including health and environmental issues, ensuring compliance with contractual / QCS specifications and safety and health risk assessments. 
• Maintain records for daily activities on site including progress photos and ensure they are readily available for inspection as and when required.
• Prepare surveillance report(s) for deficiencies of work found at site and non conformance reports (NCR) if required in view of the development of events.
• Check and ensure effective co-ordination between discipline related works and all other disciplines.
• Provide technical input and experiences to resolve any discipline related issues on site that may arise.
