Job Description 

The overall focus of the role will be to identify, engage with and leverage key relationships that add value to the organization. This would cover a wide spectrum of contacts, ranging from individual clients or investors, institutional investors, private bankers, strategic partners, government officials, etc. Across this spectrum, it will be important for the successful candidate to apply a tight filter to identify which contacts would generate maximum value for the organization, and subsequently engage in a thoughtful and strategic manner to help drive results that are meaningful and impactful to the Group.  Preferbally GCC exp is must  The candidate will be expected to manage a wide range of responsibilities. However, the key responsibilities of the BD Head will entail :  Establishing and leveraging strong local and international networks that have the potential to generate significant value to the organization, either through revenue generation, strategic partnerships and/or strengthening the brand within Dubai and across relevant international markets (GCC countries, India, London, etc).  Displaying a high degree of confidence and maturity while interacting with VIPs, High Net-Worth Individuals (HNIs), institutional investors, successful entrepreneurs, politicians, influencers and professionals representing a wide range of backgrounds.  Creating and building upon existing professional, social and academic networks, which would span alumni clubs, business associations, etc. An integral component of the role is to find creative ways of leveraging existing networks and establishing new networks, all focused towards value creation opportunities for the organization.  Networking among the VIP and influencer communities, which have the potential to generate new clients for one or more of our business verticals.  Collaborating with other departments, especially sales & marketing, to maximize our outreach efforts with clients, strategic partners, brokers, media & PR agencies, etc.  Researching the competitive landscape, thereby maintaining a pulse on how we are positioned vis-a- vis our peers and sharing relevant market information with the Chairman and the management team.   Management Professional from leading B-Schools with Experience of working in international markets is a plus. .  A successful track record, ideally spanning 10-15 years of relevant experience. Job Purpose To develop innovative & exciting products across a wide range of personal care and cosmetics categories based on innovative concepts, market trends & customer requirements.  Principal Accountabilities & Responsibilities  
Responsible for managing the full NPD process, for all cosmetics & personal care categories we operate in. 
Market research & analysis to identify trends and the most current fashions (cosmetics). This will include trends in packaging, fashion, colours and new product formats. 
Provide regular competitor analysis and reports from the internet, market research, store visits and trade fairs to identify emerging trends / ideas. 
Linking up with sales teams to improve knowledge of our different markets, and feed these insights into NPD process. 
Initiating and managing the NPD process from start to finish holding overall responsibility & accountability for timely delivery and high quality in the end product. Must have very strong project management skills. 
Holding relevant departments accountable for delivery of inputs to ensure on time delivery of NPD. 
Will be responsible for overall project management 
Developing concept briefs based on market insights & customer requirements. 
Linking up with R&D, Purchase & sales teams to ensure as many relevant insights are brought into the NPD process, all the way through to getting the product ready to be produced. 
Writing of artwork briefs. 
Writing of graphic design briefs. 
Set benchmarks, approve color and print production and attend print runs to ensure quality is met 
Feeding back to design teams on design renders. 
Will be dealing with a large number of categories, and a very rapid NPD pipeline. 
Working with relevant departments to ensure we can match product briefs to costing targets. 
Building and improving internal processes & systems, to make the NPD process for effective & efficient. 
Assessing all current own label ranges, to identify product gaps, and areas for improvement. 
Skills & Competencies Required  
Shown very strong project management skills. 
High levels of initiative, able to identify and exploit opportunities found without needing prompting. 
Spent considerable time working with personal care or color cosmetics. 
Very experienced in managing the end to end NPD process. 
Highly organized, used to dealing with multiple categories & brands and able to stay on top of it. 
Very process orientated, shown clear ability to develop systems and process for improving team efficiency. 
Shown consistent ability to operate to tight deadlines and budgets. 
Shows keen interest in cosmetics/beauty areas. 
Proficient at market research, able to identify market trends. 
Able to manage, motivate and train team members. 
Constantly trying to improve knowledge of the cosmetics/personal care categories, and attitude to want to continually innovate and improve our products. 
Very strong English, written and verbal communication skills. 
Able to work and adapt to an unstructured environment. 
Experience Required  At least 10 years of experience of working in a NPD role. 5 years of this should have been at a Manager or higher position.   Majority of this time should have been spent working with personal care or color cosmetics brands.
