We are now seeking an exceptional Lead BIM/CAD Coordinator – Structural to join our award winning team based within our Abu Dhabi Office. 

This critical role will be responsible for organizing, monitoring and controling the work of the structural CAD/BIM Technician team in the assigned office.
Paramount to success within this varied role will include ;




* Assigning technicians to work on projects to maximise the efficiency, effectiveness and utilisation of the structural technician team.

* Work within the man-hour budget for drafting/modelling allotted for each project and advising the HOD on need for overtime to meet project submission dates, ensuring it is necessary and productive if required.

* Reporting to HOD on technical matters, progress, problems and working with the HOD and other senior staff to resolve technical and organisational issues.

* Preparing lists of drawings at various stages to allow for bidding and planning the work.

* Ensuring that CAD drawings and BIM models are compliant with local and international codes and client and/or KEO standards.

* Ensuring that BIM models meet the contractual requirements and achieve the specified level of development.

* Carrying out QAQC checks on structural drawings and BIM models.

* Mentoring and training staff whilst evaluating their performance to provide support in areas that have been identified as needing attention.





To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that you will bring a minimum of 20 years career experience, at least 5 of those years as Lead CAD/BIM coordinator or similar position. The majority of the experience should have been gained working with medium to large architectural and engineering design consultancy firms working predominantly on building projects.



Structural or Civil Diploma/Bachelor's Degree is preferred.



Continued advanced training in the latest BIM software, Autodesk AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit Structure.

This critical role will be responsible for performing technical drafting and modelling work using CAD and BIM to produce accurate structural design drawings.
Paramount to success within this varied role will include;

Building BIM models using Autodesk Revit.



* 
Creating content for KEO BIM libraries.



* 
Preparing of structural drawings and REVIT models.



* 
Executing amendments to prepared models taking into account any changes/modifications on initial design. 



* 
Managing the different versions and formats of the models and ensuring they are controlled in a sequential reference environment.



* 
Maintaining log of models of all relevant design projects as per QMS and/or project requirements.



* 
Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with KEO health and safety policies.



* 
Aligning work practices and processes with KEO sustainability principles.




To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that you will bring a minimum of 6 years of experience with a Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.

Experience in structural drawings for concrete and steel using AutoCAD and REVIT is essential.
