The Role 
• Co-ordinates and performs the necessary actions to ensure that legally required documentation (labour cards, visas, residence permits, health clearance etc ) for employees & their families and business visitors, are obtained & kept current, in accordance with complex and changing regulatory requirements.  • Supports Management in interactions with different authorities by performing written & verbal translations of requirements/actions & by clarifying & advising on procedures/steps required. • Includes regular contacts within the business to obtain information and regular liaison with immigration/labour/airport/police etc to progress issues and secure timely documentation and avoid a negative impact on the business (fines & availability of labour).  • Develops an in depth knowledge of the local country/ies regulatory environment (e.g. requirements, roles of the key agencies, procedures, potential penalties etc), relating to all aspects of employment documentation for defined areas (security related, visas, work permits etc). • Develops an in depth knowledge of the local country/ies regulatory environment (e.g. requirements, roles of the key agencies, procedures, potential penalties etc), relating to all aspects of employment documentation for defined areas (security related, visas, work permits etc). • Creates and maintains appropriate filing systems to ensure that all hard copy documentation is kept in accordance with legal & business requirements & uses p.c. based software tools to create and maintain accurate & secure electronic records of all relevant transactions relating to employee/visitor documentation, permits etc. • Develops a good understanding of the responsibilities ‘Peer Government Liaison Reps’ within the Operational/HR area. • Ensures labour availability and minimises fines by initiating & processing timely & accurate payments relating to new or renewal documentation whilst complying with Finance P&P. • Establishes & uses effective processes to co-ordinate the timely & correct licensing of Company vehicles.  • Records, processes & reports fines relating to Company vehicles in accordance with local country P&P & regulatory requirements. 
Requirements 
• Good computer skills (MS Office) • A minimum of four years of the same field • Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills  • Good organizational, multi-tasking and time-management abilities

The Role 
Under the direction of the Director of Student Affairs, the psychologist promotes the personal and professional health and wellbeing of students at WCMC-Q by providing student psychological assessment and treatment services as well as developing, implementing, and evaluating student programs to promote student development, learning, and wellness.  Position Activities • Develops, implements, and evaluates student programs and services to evaluate, address, and monitor student adjustment, mental health, personal development, and learning difficulties. • Provides confidential psychological assessment and treatment services for students, including crisis intervention, relationship and learning difficulties, anxiety and other mood disorders, professionalism, and assessing and/or monitoring existing mental health conditions. • Conducts academic skills assessments and coordinates appropriate assistance for students with specific learning needs. • Consults with and provides timely referral to other professional staff as appropriate. • Develops student programs and services in collaboration with WCMC-Q faculty and staff as well as affiliate partners including WCMC-New York, Cornell University – Ithaca, Hamad Medical Corporation, Sidra and Qatar Foundation. • Collaborates with the Wellness and Activities Coordinators in developing, implementing, and evaluating programs that promote student health and wellness. • Assists with the development and maintenance of the Student Affairs Office policies and procedures manual, ensuring compliance and consistency in own area of operations; proposes and implements procedures to ensure office efficiency. • Provides back-up coverage for academic counsellors and team members as needed. • Performs other related duties as assigned. 
Requirements 
• Licensed, masters-level degree (M.A., M.S., M.Ed. in counseling or equivalent from accredited program) in clinical or counseling psychology. • Licensed to practice in Qatar • 5 or more years of experience in higher education student assessment and counseling. • Prior experience collaborating with faculty, academic advisors, and related staff to develop and implement student assessment and counseling services. • Previously demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations and cultures. • Expert English verbal and written communication and presentation skills.  Highly Desired Requirements • Licensed doctorate-level psychologist (Psy.D., PhD, or equivalent) in clinical or counseling psychology. • Track record of higher education counseling program development. • Track record of outcomes research in higher education student assessment and counseling. • Prior experience in an international academic healthcare environment. • Prior experience in the Arabian Gulf region. • Fluency in Arabic.  Working Conditions/Physical Demands  Work Conditions • Work is complete in a modern office environment. Approximately 50% is computer-based and 50% is office- or desk-based. • May require extended and varying work hours to meet demands.
