QUALIFICATION: DEGREE IN CIVIL ENGINEERING
EXPERIENCE: MORE THAN 15 YEARS EXPERIENCE INCLUDING MINIMUM 10 YEARS BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. IDENTIFIES POTENTIAL ACTIVITIES AND SITUATIONS THAT MIGHT REQUIRE CONTRACTS AND AGREEMENTS AND COORDINATES WITH ALL PARTIES AS NEEDED.
2. CREATE AND CORRECTS REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS AND RELATED SUPPLEMENTAL DOCUMENTATION NEEDED TO COMPLY WITH LEGAL REQUIREMENTS AND TO ESTABLISH CLARITY AND COMPLETENESS.
3. CONDUCTS DETAILED REVIEW OF ALL CONTRACT PACKAGES AND RELATED SUBMISSIONS TO ENSURE THAT REQUEST AND PROPOSALS ARE IN THE BEST INTEREST OF THE COMPANY.
4. PREPARES AND REVIEWS CONTRACT DRAFTS AND AGREEMENTS TO ENSURE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS AND COMPLIANCE WITH GOVERNMENT LAWS.
5. COORDINATES REVIEW OF CONTRACT DRAFTS WITH LEGAL DEPARTMENT WHEN NEEDED.
6. INCORPORATES REVISIONS MADE BY VARIOUS PARTIES OF THE CONTRACTS AND AGREEMENTS.
7. ENSURES THAT INVOICES ARE SUBMITTED IN THE CORRECT AMOUNTS AND ACCORDING TO CONTRACT PROVISIONS
8. MAINTAINS CLOSE SECURITY OF CONTRACT COMPLIANCE TO ENSURE THAT GOODS OR SERVICES ARE FURNISHED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE CONTRACT.
9.REVIEWS THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF EACH EXPIRING CONTRACT/AGREEMENT, DETERMINES IF CONTRACTS CAN BE LEGALLY RENEWED OR IN NEW CONTRACT MUST BE INITIATED TO CONTINUE THE CONTRACTED SERVICE.
10. ENSURES THAT REVIEWS OF EXPIRING CONTRACTS ARE CONDUCTED PRIOR TO EXPIRATION AND RECOMMENDATIONS FOR RENEWAL/NONRENEWABLE ARE MADE IN A TIMELY FASHION.
11. PREPARES CORRESPONDENCE, MEMOS, SUMMARIES AND ISSUE PAPERS IN ACCORDANCE WITH ESTABLISHED FORMATS AND SPECIFIED TIMELINES.
12. DEVELOPS AND CULTIVATES EFFECTIVE WORKING RELATIONSHIPS WITH A WIDE VARIETY OF CONTRACTS TO FACILITATE ACCOMPLISHING THE COMPANY'S GOALS AND OBJECTIVES.
13. ENSURES THAT INQUIRIES FOR ASSISTANCE AND COMPLAINTS ARE RESPONDED TO PROMPTLY.
TECHNICAL OR EXPERT KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE
1. DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE IN A CONTRACT MANAGEMENT AND A GOOD WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF CONTRACT MANAGEMENT PROCESSES AND TECHNIQUES.
2. HIGH LEVEL INTERPERSONAL SKILLS, INCLUDING THE LIAISE EFFECTIVELY WITH A RANGE OF STAKEHOLDERS IN PROVIDING EXPERT CONTRACT MANAGEMENT ADVICE TO ENABLE ACHIEVEMENT OF DESIRED OUTCOMES.
3. HIGH LEVEL COMMUNICATION SKILLS AT ALL LEVELS (WRITTEN AND VERBAL) AND THE ABILITY TO UNDERTAKE NEGOTIATIONS WITH CLIENT, CONSULTANT, CONSORTIUM, SUBCONTRACTOR IN THE RESOLUTION OF DISPUTES.
4. DEMONSTRATED INVESTIGATIVE AND ANALYTICAL SKILLS INCLUDING THE ABILITY TO USE MS EXCEL, DATABASE AND REPORTING SYSTEMS.
5. ABILITY TO REVIEW, DEVELOP AND IMPLEMENT GUIDELINES AND OPERATING PROCESSES.
6. DEMONSTRATED ABILITY TO WORK AS PART OF A TEAM TO DELIVER PROJECTS OUTCOMES WITHIN SPECIFIED PARAMETERS INCLUDING TIME FRAMES AND OBJECTIVES.

Electrical Building Services Inspector, responsible for carrying out inspections of electrical services installation, and ability to review shop drawings and check that materials are as per the specification. Ability to set commissioning requirements for Electrical services systems and monitor contractor T&C. Responsibilities • Responded to contractor’s RFI & FCR • Responsible for review the single line diagram and detail design for the project • Review the installation method statement for project • Review shop drawing & as built drawing • Review operation and maintenance manual (O&M) • Ensure safe working at all the times and that zero accidents are maintained for all project staff • Supervise and inspected all electric activities • Supervise and inspection of Installation of cable tray, ladder, basket, GI conduit • Supervise and inspection of all the cables/wires pulling, laying and dressing • Inspection of cable termination for wires/cables • Supervise and inspection of fixed normal light, emergency light, track light and exit light • Supervise and inspection of Panel and DBs (MSB, MCP, ATS, SSB, DB) including termination • Supervise and inspection all the methods of installation HV, transformers and generator • Supervise and inspection all the methods of installation HV, transformers and generator • Supervise and inspection Installation of device for low current system (fire alarm, CCTV, access control, BMS,DPP) • Prepare comments for inspection request to make hand over for the project • Prepares the necessary records and reports of all inspection and non-compliance records (NCR) • Inspect on -site and off-site material which will be used in the project • Update material and shop drawing submittal Log Sheet • Compiling weekly quality reports for site work • Monitor the progress of work against the approved plan • Inspects and reports of any damage parts or equipment • Ensure that contractor follows environmental, safety and health programs • Megger testing for Panel Boards (MSB ,MCP,ATS,SSB,DB) • Function check for panels • Continuity, megger test for power cable • Earth pit cables continuity test Testing and Commissioning • Witness pre commissioning &commissioning of all electrical system to be sure that all tests are running according to the approved procedures • Testing and commissioning of Fire alarm system, Disabled refuge alarm system • Disabled toilet alarm system • Testing and commissioning of Lighting system, Lighting control system, Emergency light system • Testing and commissioning of CCTV system, Access control system • Testing and commissioning of Earthing system, Lighting protection system
Requirements

The Role
Our client, a facilities management company is currently looking for a Facilities Engineer. To provide support to the QHSE Manager in the provision of the QHSE Department outputs. To coordinate the support elements relating to the IMS through planning, monitoring, document control, analysis of statistics and provision of reports for all elements relating to Quality, Occupational Health & Safety, and Environment. Key Job Responsibilities Q.A. Responsibilities • Monitor company Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) system, processes and procedures for validity and compliance. • Monitor the QHSE aspects of contractors/subcontractors, including reviews of the Supplier Evaluation System. • To act as the Internal Audit function Coordinator, to produce the draft Annual Internal Audit Schedule for approval and to monitor compliance and the outputs of the Internal Auditors. • To carry out internal audits of Occupational Health & Safety Management System (OHSMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), and Quality Management Systems (QMS). • Responsible for the management and monitoring of the QHSE database. • Produce Routine & Ad Hoc QA reports as required. Requirements
• Hold a recognised qualification in HSE, minimum NEBOSH Certificate; • Minimum 3 years of work experience in a HSE Coordinator/Advisor role preferably in a FM, Property Management or Hotel/Hospitality environment; • Have strong audit-related experience, including understanding of compliance requirements, monitoring guidelines, and standards e.g. ISO 9001:2008/2015 and trained as an Internal Auditor; • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, in English language, and ability to write audit reports and other departmental reports as required; • Good ability to deliver HSE Induction and support other HSE trainings, workshops and campaigns to a multi-cultural and ethnically diverse workforce; • Good knowledge of MS Office based software systems, particularly MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint; • Good organisational skills, detail oriented, and the ability to handle tasks efficiently, prioritising as required; • Ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision Background, Experience and Attributes: Essential • The appointee will be a highly motivated flexible individual with energy and drive and have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a QHSE Coordinator/Advisor • He/she will be a systematic and pragmatic, self-motivated individual who demonstrates the ability to be an objective auditor/investigator and who is tactful and has good ability to report with clarity and accuracy • The incumbent will possess good planning and organisational skills with ability to self-manage the departmental outputs • Have understanding of the local health and safety regulations applicable to the UAE and/or local municipality. • Knowledge of Abu Dhabi Occupational Safety & Health System Framework (OSHAD SF) Desirable • Holder of a UAE Driving Licence • Registered OSH Practitioner through Qudorat Registration System Trainings Required • Company Induction Training • Site familiarisation • Fire Safety • ISO 9001:2008/2015 Internal Auditor
