Urgent Opening for Mechanical Design Engineer at Oman . JOB SUMMARY Responsible of the Design Engineer is to provide Engineering & Design Calculation (manual using Excel Sheet) of Pressure Vessels, Structural manufacturing and project management Support. Responsible for Tender Review and its capability (must), researching & developing ideas and processes for new products. Improves upon the performance and design of existing products. Require challenges that need persistence, original thinking and a positive attitude. QUALIFICATION / OTHER REQUIREMENTS Age: 35 Years and above (North Indian is prepared). Minimum Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Certification from Reputed Institution for either one of StaadPro, PVElite& Pro*E and Manual design calculation according to standard in excel sheet is mandatory requirements. 8 years and above Experience in relevant field as stated above. Tender Review and proposal Capability (must) Solid Communication Skills (Verbal / Written) in English (must). Possess Strong Leadership and Project Management Skills. Proficiency with MS Office applications, 2D Auto CAD & 3D CAD Experience. Excellent Problem Solving Skills & Strong Analytical Skills. Experience with Weld / Drill Fixtures and Bending Dies is added advantage.
PLACEMENT Appointment would be at Muscat. Certification from Reputed Institution for either one of Staad Pro or PVElite or Pro*E or others preferred. Package is based on experience and skill possess by the candidate with free Food, Accommodation, Medical Insurance at Muscat. Return flight ticket on yearly basis.

The Role
IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Head of Department DEPARTMENT: Civil Engineering FUNCTION: Responsible to the Head of Department for preparation, teaching, assessment and coordination of student learning, as required. PRIMARY TASKS: • Teach a course load appropriate to their discipline. • Plan and organize classes in ways that maximize Student learning. • Employ appropriate teaching and learning strategies to communicate subject matters to students. • Modify, where appropriate, instructional methods and strategies to meet diverse student needs. • Employ available instructional technology (internet, tele-course) when appropriate. • Encourage the development of communication skills and critical thinking skills through appropriate assignments. • Contribute to the selection and development of teaching materials in accordance with course objectives. • Evaluate student performance fairly and consistently and return student work promptly to promote learning. • Maintain accurate records of student progress and submit final grade rosters to division administrators each semester according to established deadlines. • Prepare, distribute, and submit syllabi and approved course outlines for all assigned sections in accordance with program and department policies. • Substitute for other instructors within field or discipline in case of absence. • Serve on college, department and program committees as needed. • Participate in meetings and events required by the college, department and programs. • Participate in graduation ceremonies • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills in communication with students, colleagues, staff and administrators as an individual or team. • Comply with ACK policies and procedures. • Other duties as assigned by the Head of Department.
