With registered companies in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Qatar, Oman, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait, this makes us one of the strongest international construction consultancies in the region.  Faithful+Gould are currently looking for an experienced Project Manager to form part of a Project Management Consultant (PMC) team based in Qatar. The main objective of the PMC is to oversee the delivery of a specialist laboratory facility, implementing and managing the overall delivery programme. The team is expected to support the Client in ensuring the project is completed within the required timescale, budget and achieve the Client’s quality requirements. The project is expected to last for approximately 3 years.  Responsibilities:  The project manager will execute his duties to the highest possible standards. It is expected that the project manager’s role will require strong people and relationship management skills, and will also include, but not be limited to, the following key functions: • Implementing an appropriate and effective project or programme management framework, incorporating necessary review processes as required. • Defining and implementing criteria for control and management of the project. • Coordinating and directing end-user input throughout the project lifecycle. • Appraising options and submitting them to the client for approval. • Coordinating the value management strategy. • Managing the project budget, including risk allowances. • Monitoring and controlling changes / variations following approval by the client. • Determining and managing risks that may affect the project in any way, particularly schedule, budget or quality / specifications. • Facilitating effective communication and action as main point of contact between the client and site delivery team. • Ensuring the site delivery team receives the necessary stakeholder decisions in a timely fashion. • Establishing a mechanism to ensure collaborative problem solving with the project team, which will involve regular dialogue with contractors, team working and risk-sharing. • Negotiating and converting contracts as required by the project • Overseeing the award of contracts and ensuring that the client is adequately protected. • Chairing meetings and ensure minutes are actioned in a timely manner. • Providing timely regular and accurate reporting on the project progress, costs and quality as determined by the project director. • Accurately checking and signing off on all payment certificates and invoices. • Ensuring accurate finalisation of client accounts, provide substantiated recommendations for variations and ensure contractors and consultants are paid in accordance with contract schedules. • Look for opportunities to improve the client’s position in regard to return and value. • Identify and resolve disputes quickly and reasonably. • Developing and maintaining good relationships with client representatives, consultants, contractors and adjoining property owners. • Managing and coordinating the project handover phase with contractors, client contractors, tenants and building managers. • Receiving and reviewing detailed reports on the project from the site delivery team. • Establishing formal reporting arrangements on project progress for the client.  We offer an excellent package which includes • A competitive salary; • Accommodation allowance; • Transportation allowance; • 22 calendar days annual leave (based on 5 day working week) • Medical and life insurance cover; • Company gratuity scheme; • Discretionary bonus scheme; • Annual flight allowance to point of origin • Employee Well-Being Programme – 24 hour free advice on financial, legal and family care specialists and also access to personal health, fitness and nutrition consultants 
Requirements 
• Bachelor’s Degree in a construction related discipline • 10 years post qualification experience in Project Management • Minimum last 5 years as a Senior PM or PM  • Proven ability to support the Project Director on the delivery of all project management aspects of the project • 360 Project Management experience with a leading PMC • Middle East experience preferred.

Requirements 
• Experience in delivery of hospitality and leisure experience is essential. Those candidates without prior experience will not be considered for these roles; • MRICS APC status as minimum for all levels. This is non-negotiable; • Degree in Quantity Surveying from recognised RICS accredited university; • Minimum of 10 year's post qualification experience; • Minimum of 3 years’ UK, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong or Malaysian experience; • Must have consultant experience for minimum of 4 years'; • Knowledge in the use of QS software CATO or similar is required; • Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills; • Able to work on own or managing a team for project deliverables as project dictates; • Possess good project background and proven English language technical writing ability and skills.

Oversees the cost control system and procedures to track project budgets, commitments, expenditures and forecasts for all projects  Principal Accountabilities & Responsibilities: • Significant knowledge and experience of project cost management, cost engineering and cost forecasting principles and techniques within the Oil and Gas industry • Must have detailed knowledge of and familiarity with project cost engineering techniques. • Details knowledge of project work breakdown structures (WBS) techniques to enable effective project budget development and management, control and forecasting of project costs through the project lifecycle. • Develop and manage effective relationships with project team and relevant members of client organisation. • Work within the standard cost procedures and ensure that these procedures fulfil client requirements and develop additional projects specific procedures where necessary. • Prepare activity plans to accomplish all work required by the procedures and to ensure that sufficient Cost resources are provided. • Assist with the maintenance of quality assurance and quality control systems to ensure that the quality of the cost engineering service on each project is maintained to the standards laid down in the contract Execution Procedures, through regular project audits • Manage the project cost engineering workload of the team • Direct and control the work of all Cost engineers assigned to the project. • Mentor and develop Cost team members, where appropriate • Assist Management with performance appraisals of assigned Cost Engineers. • Lead regular Cost review meetings with the project team including Cost development and Cost risk workshops as required • Assist with Interviews and recruitment of Cost engineers as necessary  Organizational Relationships (Work Contacts) • Regular interactions with Project Manager/ Project Controls manager. • Engineering disciplines, Quality and Procurement Functions  Independence of Operations and Decision-making Authority:  • Has overall responsibility and accountability for the progress control and reporting • Has high visibility to Saudi Aramco stakeholders • Able to work within a defined role with limited supervision. • Exercises judgment in making decisions; know when to seek advice. 
Requirements 
• Relevant degree or appropriate experience • Site construction experience would be advantageous • Previous experience in controlling, directing, supervising and managing the day to day activities of a cost engineering team is essential. • Strategic thinker who can contribute to the management and improvement of the overall operation and the development of local nationals in project cost control roles. • Cost and organisational skills. Proactive attitude and ability to contribute to the continuous improvement of the cost control process for Contract. • A proven track record in FEED and EPC phases of refinery, oil & gas, petrochemical or similar facilities including revamp projects • Have a minimum of 15 years’ experience, with 4 years of claims experience with the main activities focused on the prosecution or defence of EOT claims. • Self-motivated, energetic and tenacious • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with all levels up to top management • IT/Computer Literacy in particular Microsoft Excel • Willing to share information and develop junior staff • Must have worked on large scale infrastructure projects ideally with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the MEA.
