Qualification : Btech / Mtech/ diploma
Experience : 9 - 15 yrs of experience in HVAC or Air conditioning Industry
Thorough knowledge of Quality Assurance systems. Starting from Supplier evaluation, incoming quality inspection, process control and customer complaint handling.
Should be able to prepare standards and procedures and implement systematically.
Experience of handling external Audits and driving company wise improvement activities
Knowledge of QMS & EMS systems
Knowledge of products like residential, commercial aircon and refrigerators, freezers and coolers.
Must have dealt with national and international standards for performance, energy efficiency , CB & EMC ( SASO, ESMA, IEC, KUKAS etc )
Good understanding and knowledge of Part used in Aircon and refrigeration systems.
Ability to handle Export customer complaints.

The Role
Maintenance Assistant - Bahrain Key accountabilities • Support the duties of the planned and reactive maintenance schedule both internally and externally to the property across several disciplines, not limited to; Carpentry, Masonry, Painting and Plumbing services. • Identify and assist with the requisition of materials to ensure maintenance and repairs are carried out efficiently and to approved standards. • Ensure that a clean and tidy working environment is maintained at all time by controlling tools, materials and waste products. • Assist with specialist moves, equipment moves, and porterage duties as required. • Assist with various and types of MEP work as required. • Integrate and communicate effectively with other trade staff (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical and Plumbing) as required. • Maintain up to date knowledge for the safe and efficient performance of all duties. • Participate in overtime, shift work and/or out of hours working as governed by the necessity to maintain continuity of operation of essential plant and systems. • Participate in emergency on-call service during non-working hours, weekends and public holidays. • Work alone with minimum supervision and/or within a team responsible to the Supervisor. • Participate in the Health, Safety & Risk programs including risk assessment of planned and reactive maintenance work activities. • Use safe systems of work when working with all plant and equipment and ensure the same with the department and among sub-contractors and third parties. • Participate in project work including refurbishment of existing building equipment/systems and/or new installations. • Provide effective communication with management, peers, contractors, subcontractors, project subcontractors. • Ensure good HSQE and Information security culture is promoted within the department and among peers. • Carry out other duties as directed by the line management.
Requirements
• Must hold relevant and recognized qualification in any of the civil discipline, or equivalent. • Proficient and able to demonstrate a complete understanding of general maintenance services. • Technically competent with a clear understanding of building fabric and finishes, associated tools and equipment. • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a building services and/or facilities management environment. Skills: • Able to foster good relations with colleagues and other departments and be a good team player. • Flexibility, excellent attention to detail and ability to identify key issues. • Able to work under stringent deadlines and high pressure environment.

Key Responsibilities: MEP services measurement support for pre-contract cost planning and estimating, BoQ production, tender services, contract preparation Specialised in measurement of MEP systems, Mechanical, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, Plumbing, Drainage, Electrical, Low Voltage, Vertical Transportation, etc. Provide measurement support for risk and value management and cost control functions Undertaking measurement tasks to support cost analysis project work Assist with drafting detailed progress/ cost reports Reporting to MEP Quantity Surveyor on day to day tasks Understanding the implications of health and safety regulations Managing workload with minimal supervision Support senior staff in commercial meetings. Experiences and Qualifications: Must have previous experience of Principles of Measurement (International) (POMI), experience of CESMM standard method of measurement preferred but not essential Hotels/ Residential/ Commercial/ Healthcare/ Education experience advantageous Degree in Quantity Surveying or Engineering from recognised university Min 2 years pre-or post-contract experience MRICS or enrolled on APC preferred but not essential Must have consultant and/or contractor background for minimum of 2 years Knowledge in the use of QS software CATO or similar is preferred, otherwise good working use of AutoCAD Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills Team worker Possess good project background and proven English language technical writing ability and skills.
