Currently we are looking for Embedded Software Engineer / Senior Embedded Software Engineer. The Candidate will be under paermanent of Experis Australia and work for the client.
About Client
Our client is a leader in vehicle to vehicle communication with some cutting edge and world 1st global projects already in place. Based in Adelaide, they are seeking x 2 embedded software engineers (including one senior) with some wireless experience to work within their engineering team. They specialize in vehicle-to-everything, or V2X) across both private enterprise (automotive and private sector) as well as government based projects, offering the full vertical market of V2X technology, from hardware, to car and infrastructure software solutions. We are seeking a Software Engineer with a passion for embedded software and recent Linux and/or embedded software experience. Ideally with some wireless experience you will will work on some cutting edge and high profile global projects - your contribution, collaboration, team work and client communication skills alongside technical expertise will need to be top notch.
KEY CRITERIA:
2 + years experience in embedded software development projects.
Bachelors degree in engineering
Passionate about embedded Linux software and wireless communication
The ability to manage multiple deadlines and concurrent project requirements seamlessly
Some protocol stack development experience (preferably wireless)
Good C and Python skillset
Linux kernel driver programming highly regarded
RTOS (QNX) experience is highly regarded
Strong communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
You will directly contribute directly to the design, development and testing of Cooperative ITS applications.
You will need to ensure you keep on track with current and future Cooperative ITS applications, network layer and medium access control protocols.
You will develop software modules in line with stringent qualification targets.
You will be directly responsible for the development, integration and quality of the module.
You will provide technical subject matter support to the field application engineers.
You will liaise with clients for training and development
