nutrition brand originating from the USA is seeking a Regional Key Account
Manager for the MENA region. We are seeking an individual who is a sports
enthusiast that has an interest in nutritional products to support an active
lifestyle.
This role will be to drive the development and execution of sales strategies as well as to manage the complete Distributor/Customer plan and market planning process. The role will be based in Dubai and will require frequent travel across the region. You will be reporting into a VP based in the USA and will be required to grow a regional sales team across the region. This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional who is looking to launch and develop an established US brand in the region.
Accountabilities:
* Selling a range of branded products to sports nutrition distributors in addition to developing and executing sales strategies such as promotions, programs and product launch plans
* Manage the account and customer planning process including: yearly budgets, sales strategies, proposing and approval for advertising, demand planning and trending
* Frequent communication with external and internal stakeholders to help meet the customers\' expectations when delivering and developing new formulas for their markets
* Meet and exceed sales targets
* Represent the customer and work with all key internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of necessary product materials to all accounts

Senior Buyers, for their womenswear and menswear categories to be based in
Kuwait. This person should have strong buying experience from a premium or
luxury multi-brand retailer and has preferably managed international
categories. This person will also lead brand selection, product launches,
in-store merchandising, category management and at the same time ensuring the
highest quality of offers, to maximize sales and profit, as set out in the
Business Plan.
Responsibilities:
Ability to deliver the Business Plan:
* Maximize delivery of sales and profit in line with growth strategy for the category.
* Develop, challenge and train the team to deliver the Business Plan.
Actively seek and communicate Local Market Intelligence, Country learning\'s and Insights:
* Ensure collation of appropriate Market data covering product and Market intelligence.
* Identify trends and new business opportunities and apply in line with customers\' expectations.
Create and deliver a Promotional Programme:
* Create an annual Category Marketing plan and strategy for key brands.
* Manage all sales plan information in line with the sales plan timetable.
* Recommend a profitable offer programme for products within the category.
Manage new product development:
* Identify and implement new product offers that will increase competitiveness and differentiation.
Manage pricing strategy / Ensure range and category management:
* Be the key source of product knowledge and information.
* Ensure accurate information to form part of the overall Category Bi Annual Review.
* Plan and project manage new brand launches.
* Manage Inventory management (new/exclusive/replacement/discontinued/promotional/seasonal lines)
* Negotiate with supplier for recommended new lines, price and profit target.
* Access supplier capabilities and develop supplier strategies which are consistent with supplier policy.
* Identify key suppliers and develop a mutually beneficial business relationship with each.
Manage the Supply/category interface:
* Work in partnership with the Supply Chain team to deliver the best Supply Chain processes and services, and meet the agreed key performance indicators for stock holdings, aging stock, stock turn and GMROI.
